So we've been having constant issues with our instrument cluster overheating and AC not working. We have taken our vehicle (2023 330i) in for service 3x and issue has not been resolved. Unsure why they refu cluster overheating and AC not working. We have taken our vehicle (2023 330i) in for service 3x and issue has not been resolved. Unsure why they refuse to replace the part and only continue to make small adjustments during labor that don't resolve the issue. If not resolved this 4x it's taken in for repairs, will have to contact BBB. The service advisors have been very helpful during the process but we need to really expedite this matter and get it resolved. More

I was hoping for a good experience buying from BMW and AutoNation, but unfortunately, have had nothing but issues since I bought my BMW from them and have severe buyers’ remorse. If I wanted to buy a car AutoNation, but unfortunately, have had nothing but issues since I bought my BMW from them and have severe buyers’ remorse. If I wanted to buy a car with issues and get ignored by the seller afterwards, I would have gone to Craigslist. I recently (3 weeks ago) purchased a pre-owned BMW X3 from this dealership and the key stopped working 2 days after I drove the car off the lot. I replaced the battery and it worked briefly, but then stopped working altogether. I was able to (after some research) figure out how to drive the car, but need to take the key apart to unlock the doors manually and hold the key fob up to the steering column for minutes until it registers and to be able to drive the car. This process is really tedious to try and pry the key apart every time to unlock/lock the car manually and to sit in a 120-degree car on a hot Texas summer day with my 6 year old son in the backseat for minutes until the key registers with the steering column and allows the car to start. Not to mention, I feel like a peasant every time I try and get inside this car and get it started. This was not a process I was expecting to have to do every time in order to drive my “luxury” automobile. I’ve been repeatedly contacting the dealership for weeks with no resolution in sight yet. My sales rep, Christian, hasn’t been responding or replying to emails since I drove off the lot. I’ve tried to call the service department, but the people who answered could only schedule appointments, nothing more. I was able to get somebody on the phone from the dealership, who told me to bring the car and key in without an appointment, and I verified the date and hours, but the service department was closed when I arrived. After complaining at the dealership, I was able to have a service supervisor call me, but he insisted I bring my car in yet again for a new key battery, even after explaining the battery wasn’t the issue. After driving 45 minutes (one-way) to the dealership again, the service department couldn’t fix the problem and the new key battery they installed didn’t work either (as I tried to explain up-front before being subjected to another 1.5 hour round-trip). Their solution was to offer me an appointment on June 20th (It’s May 29th) to diagnose the problem (likely an issue with the steering column), and explained that I’ll probably have to pay for the repairs since I didn’t purchase the extended warranty. In a nutshell, if you want to purchase a BMW with pre-existing issues that is a pain to drive every time, and then get ignored repeatedly afterwards, and ultimately wait months and pay out-of-pocket to fix the issue that was present when you bought the car, this is the dealership for you. However, if you want to purchase a quality, issue-free vehicle and/or want remotely acceptable customer service, then I recommend looking elsewhere. This is not the experience I expected from a “luxury” auto-dealership like BMW and AutoNation. I’ve had better customer service at Jack in the Box. I may edit this review later depending on if/when/how this issue gets resolved, but at this time, my experience has been stressful and painful. More
