We did the test drive and we were very happy with the sales associate. Then came time for the negotiation. Let me preface that I’m very knowledgeable on buying and leasing vehicles. I had done my research and knew where we could be happy and they can make money. Not the case at this dealer. The manager handling our deal is strictly in it for the money. Their fees are absurd. As an example they charge a doc fee of $699 which is high but in line with other stores. But then they have a MVC of $337!? Wait, isn’t that included in the doc fee…not here. Needless to say but we walked out. We were able to go to Englewood the same day and we got the same car for $40 less a month and no ridiculous fees and we did it in literally 10 minutes. The manager laughed at what JDK had tried to do. long story short do your research on the car you want and on how to negotiate a lease or finance. If you want a Kia best to avoid this place. It’s a shame that the sales associate is stuck here. Best that he move on too. More
