Purchased an Audi S5 from them and when I went to pick up the car (as I live in Chicago), the Salesperson Milad told me that he had to put air in the tires as they all needed it and it was perhaps due to the the car (as I live in Chicago), the Salesperson Milad told me that he had to put air in the tires as they all needed it and it was perhaps due to the chilly weather the night before, so he said to ignore the TPMS light that I will notice will be on. He said his mechanic said that I have to drive the car for a while and that it will go away. In good faith I accepted that and I drove off. The next day the TPMS light was still on. I drove it home that day and I had to fill the tires with air the entire way to Chicago. The next day I take the car to Meineke and they tell me that someone recently performed bead work on my tires and this could be the cause of the air leakage. I asked them to fix it and upon them removing the tires, there was a chuck of rubber missing on one tire and they said the rest were probably the way so maybe they should stop. I told them to continue and if I need to buy new tires, I guess I wouldn't have a choice. Additionally, they also told me that my entire cars computer needed to be reset so that it recognizes not only the tires but everything else! Lastly, they told me my front upper and lower control arms needed to be replaced as it's dangerous to drive in that condition. So I drove a car with bad tires, and a loose front end! Anyway, I called North Coast and I told them what happened and the General Manager told me that as soon as I drive off the lot that it's my car and my issue. I told him what I was told by his employee and that I followed his instruction and I was pretty much lied to. I told him, this cost me $260, can you guys reimburse me for that given what I was told and he said no. He literally told me to think positive in knowing I got a car below the Car Fax price. Well, the repair of the upper and lower control arms of that Audi S5 costs approximately $7000 as it has 2 upper and 2 lowers! So was it a steal? I'd say yes, only it as for them. I only met one guy there that was honest and that was Nick one of the finance representatives. I think he should leave that place quickly because he doesn't seem to represent what they do there and I'd highly recommend staying as far from this dealership as possible. I'd like anyone reading this to know that I feel this was so unethical that I decided to write this to warn others. And this is the first time I have EVER written a review of any institution, but again, I feel this was so derogatory that I was compelled to share my exact experience. Save your money and go to Carmax, as they stand by their product and treat their customers right! More
I bought cars here in 2017 and 2024. I will not return and would not recommend doing business here. This is a red flag especially for other women buying cars on their own - they will not respect your choices. I now understand why they push the service package so hard - the check engine light came on my 2020 Trax less than 12 hours after buying the car. They are nice enough to you until you buy a car and then they speak to you like garbage (Ariel especially) after they have your business. The car also had a crack in the windshield that they made sure not to disclose, I didn’t see it because I test drove the car at night after waiting over an hour for the car to be pulled up. Ariel was extremely unprofessional, antagonizing, and argued with me about having the car detailed while it was at the dealership for service, even though I requested the detail in advance with my salesperson Darvin after they sold the car to me filthy on the outside and with stains on the interior. Absolute terrible experience all around. When I picked the car up after the windshield was replaced, they literally pretended that the car was detailed. They put down detail mats, yet all of the stains, dirt, and crumbs that were in the vehicle when I purchased it remained. I feel that this was intentional after my hostile interaction with Ariel. Do NOT do business here, you will regret it. More
Went in to buy a 2020 Mustang in cash. Called prior to making the 5 hour journey to confirm that the wire would go through that day. Once I arrived they told me that it would not go through until Monday (it was Saturday) and that if I financed the car they would take 400 off. I had zero intention of doing that, they offered to ship the car to me. Tuesday the wire hit and they told me the shipper was one hour out. Fast forward to Friday, no one has called or communicated with me. I drive back to pick the car up myself. I was told the car was detailed and ready to be shipped. The car has OLD BLOOD SPLATTER EVERYWHERE. I HAD TO CLEAN SOMEONE ELSES BLOOD OUT OF MY NEW CAR. BLOOD WAS IN THE CRACKS TO THE BUTTONS OF THE STEERING WHEEL, THERE WERE BLOODY FINGER PRINTS ON THE VISOR AND BLOOD DRIPPING DOWN THE MIDDLE CONSOL. I purchased this car at night and it has black interior. I wasn't going to make a post because I wanted to move on from this terrible experience but the blood is a biohazard. When trying to contact the dealership I get no call back then someone telling me I'm a lying angry customer and it was BARBECUE SAUCE. I hung up on them. DO NOT GO HERE.
