I appreciated the customer service from the in-person interaction, expedient arrangement for the rides from/to the dealership, and overall transparency. The problem (nail) wasn't caught until day 2 when taking it off the lift. I took it elsewhere bc they didn't have replacement tires in stock. I have submitted a detailed written report of my experience with Dirito VW on an earlier review. I paid a total $679.64 ($490 for 2 hours of labor, $183.54 for tailgate latch, $6.10 for a backup lig experience with Dirito VW on an earlier review. I paid a total $679.64 ($490 for 2 hours of labor, $183.54 for tailgate latch, $6.10 for a backup light bulb). The tailgate latch was replaced inappropriately and had to bring the car back for a readjustment. The tech had the backup light reinserted to make them work on my initial visit. Because of needing to slam the tailgate hard to have it close properly, both backup lights did not work and it was found that the backup light bulb on the driver side had to be replaced. with a new bulb which I paid for. Before I drove the car out of the lot, the service rep went out to the car with me to check to see if the tailgate latch worked properly which it did. However, the backup light on the driver side still did not work. When, the service rep check with the tech, he said the tech said it worked when he checked on it. The service tech told me that I might have to charge another diagnostic service fee. I told him that I am not sure why because the light still did not work with the "new" bulb. The car only went from the garage to the front of the light what possibly could happen. I did not even drive the car and the bulb is "new". No one seemed to care to at least check without charging me $245 again for a "new" light bulb, which does not work. I feel that the $490 labor charge is quite excessive with all that I went through and still do not have the backup light work. I receive a form letter from the general manager with no comment on the incomplete service that I received. This is the reason for my poor service mark. I guess this is not important enough for Dirito Bros to bother with. More
