Which they did do. It took a long time--as car purchases tend to, but overall it was a good experience. Not sure why financing required 33% down..... Recommended. More

They did about a 20 point inspection then said the rear blind spot was working. The tech and a sale rep. walked behind behind the car and it did not detect them nor give a warning. Was then told it is not suppose to detect people. It had previously. Car was i another repair shop and battery went dead. Would start with a booster but would not hold a charge. Car was two years old. Now, the new five month old battery went dead. Car will not start even with jumper cables. Found a bulletin on line that says 2020 - 2021 Outbacks have this issue due to something called "Dark Current" We have never been notified about this issue and how to correct it. Believe it or not, we are trading this car in for a lease on a 2024 Outback. Have emailed and talked with three different people today at the dealership as to what our next step was or if we can get their road side service. No response from anyone today. More

The absolute worst Subaru service in America. Will lie right to your face. Was quoted a price for 60,000 mile service. Called back after checking other dealers nearby to set up appointments. I ha Will lie right to your face. Was quoted a price for 60,000 mile service. Called back after checking other dealers nearby to set up appointments. I had to break in to two different appointments. When I was scheduling the appointments, I mentioned several times the price I had been quoted and the person I was speaking with to make appointments agreed more than once the price was correct. Went for the first appointment and requested a price for the remainder of service required. Of course it was almost $300.00 more than I had been quoted. I questioned this and was told that it must have been quoted wrong. I understand a person quoting the wrong price once, but I questioned the original quoted price more than once and it was confirmed by a second person. My main problem is that Delores called me and left a message how they could fix my problem and earn my business. I returned her call on 3 different occasions with no response back. Please for your sake go to Greenville SC or Johnson City TN for your service. The Subaru dealers in Asheville are the worst. More

An hour after I got home I got an email that said they had talked to me about 2 additional things I needed to do while I was currently in the waiting room??? Really, no one talked to me while I was in the waiting room about a problem. They wanted to do a 4 wheel drive alignment but they supposedly did that and charged me for it less than 5 months ago. What is going on here? Was it done? I paid for it then. Someone needs to work on their service here. I like this car, but it has been one thing after another with the service since we got it in 2021 for future service I will seek other options. The trust here is gone completely More
Service Department has Terrible communication and aggressive up selling of necessary products and services. They wasted two hours of my time, charged me $180 for a diagnostic test, and then did not f aggressive up selling of necessary products and services. They wasted two hours of my time, charged me $180 for a diagnostic test, and then did not fix the issue (multiple safety system warning lights on). But on the bright side, they did try to sell me a $26 bottle of Fuel System Cleaner, which they described as "Needs immediate attention", so I guess we can see what their priorities are. I dropped my car off because I had multiple indicator lights on: Traction Control, ABS, Auto Hold stuck on. The next day they looked at the car, then sent me a text that linked to some web app that showed a service had been performed: "HDBELE - BODY ELECTRICAL CONCERN" was the only description. The web app showed 4 more recommended services, and all four were tagged as "Needs Immediate Attention". The services were: (1) Wheel Bearing Replacement - Rear, (2) Fuel System Cleaner, (3) PCV Valve Replacement and (4) Spark Plug Replacement. There were no notes or explanations of what these services were or why I needed them. And, since the list included a bottle of fuel additive and trying to replace my spark plugs 12,000 miles before the owner’s manual says they need to be replaced, I didn't take any of that seriously. Hey Hunter, maybe pick up the phone next time or fix your broken web app. So, based on that nonsense, I assumed that the amount they had charged me was for the repair I needed and were just trying to up-sell me a bunch of services. When I went to pick up the car, I found that they had done absolutely nothing to fix it. The $180 was just for a diagnostic test. But actually 1 (and only 1) of the four services they recommended was REQUIRED to fix the issue. Had they made that clear, instead of trying to sell me fuel additive and spark plugs that I didn't need, then they would have my money right now and I would be a happy customer. Instead, they were so busy trying to ring extra pennies out of me that they left all the dollars on the table. I bought my car from them new and have used them for all important service since. But never again. I'll go to the other Hyundai dealership in Asheville from now on for service and sales. More
