Everyone is so polite and so helpful. It's so nice to have a clean and comfortable place to wait while my vehicle is being worked on. It's so nice to have a clean and comfortable place to wait while my vehicle is being worked on. More

contrary to all the negative reviews I see here I have nothing but good things to say about Schulte's. Have had Subarus for nearly 20 years, bought first one used from another dealership & when their care nothing but good things to say about Schulte's. Have had Subarus for nearly 20 years, bought first one used from another dealership & when their carelessness resulted in me being stranded in the middle of 41st immediately after an oil change all they could say was that they had noticed some sluggishness in the transmission which they never advised me of until I complained of being stranded. Travis at Schulte was a savior he got my car right in, diagnosed, repaired, & I have never gone elsewhere. They are courteous & prompt. I will go nowhere else. since I have always gotten offered free loaner if mine needs to stay over half an hour. And their loan vehicles are the current year's vehicle's, not some beat up dead wreck. They also have a good gratis coffee bar. More
After getting a salesman to talk to me and showing interest in a new Outback, I was given a used Outback for a test drive. The vehicle had a broken windshield and was out of gas. They had various fees interest in a new Outback, I was given a used Outback for a test drive. The vehicle had a broken windshield and was out of gas. They had various fees on their price and offered a ridiculous low offer on my trade. I found the staff to be condescending. I bought a new vehicle at another dealership! More

My Subaru used to be in South Carolina, and was meticulously maintained and gently driven, with no incidents. The car never had any major issues. Upon moving to South Dakota, I maintained the re meticulously maintained and gently driven, with no incidents. The car never had any major issues. Upon moving to South Dakota, I maintained the regular recommended service at Schulte Subaru, including oil changes. At Schulte's second oil change, the 48 point inspection revealed a need to reseal the right cam carrier, which was covered under the warranty. On the positive side, the warranty process was seamless, and Schulte did readily provide a loaner car. During the repair, the loaner car's oil pressure light came on, so I checked the oil, and it was much too high. Likewise, when I picked up our car from the dealership, the oil was much too high. When pointing this out, the customer service gave a feeble explanation that did not line up with the basic principles of proper oil level, per the car's manual. Apparently the oil is done with a machine, so I wonder if an improper machine setting is causing people to have seal issues and subsequent costly repairs - convenient for a dealership's profit margin. The whole process has been consistently defined by unreturned calls and rude/condescending customer service. It was implied that this seal issue would not have been pointed out had they know about our warranty. I also never received paperwork for the 48 point inspection associated with this repair. I am extremely disappointed, and expect much more quality and conscientious service from Subaru, and I hope this dealership will improve. If it weren't for the warranty, I would have traded in my Subaru for a Ford or similar. I will probably do this anyway when the warranty expires. I recognize that Schulte Subaru has a monopoly on a vast geographic area, so they can seemingly get away with shoddy service. In sum, this car has never had any issues until coming to Schulte Subaru, and the issues I have consistently had with this dealership are likely going to compel me to trade in my Subaru when the warranty expires.
