Luckily I got a different service writer last time and she was nice. However, when my free oil change is complete, give me the keys so I can go. I don’t want to wait an additional 20 minutes with the truck parked out there while you finish the paperwork. Also, take the floor protection and number off the rear view mirror when you park it. I dropped my car in for service one day and got a call from your appraisal manage telling me he wanted to buy my car. When I picked up the car the next day is when I met Craig Weidner. We through some numbers around , but I was not ready and they din't have the color I wanted any way. Recently I seen the C8 I wanted on the website in transit. Craig called once it came in and the rest is in the books. Craig worked with me to make sure I was satisfied with the purchase. He probably lost 5lbs running back and forth. I decided to get some decals on it as well and he worked closely with the service department keeping me informed all the way. Lap in financing was extremely helpful as well. He worked with me and ensured I understood all the extras I was purchasing. On the plus side, Sunset had just the used van i was looking for. But things got a little tacky as the deal progressed. Sunset touts their lifetime linited power-train warranty. So I am left to assume the claim fulfillment rate is too low to publish and that like others have found, this is largely just a marketing line. To Sunset's credit, they did repair some body work, but the sales person did not alert me to this damage before i drove 2.5 hours to view the van. Then when I arrived to close the deal and retrieve the van, my salesman, despite committing to be there, was nowhere to be found. He had essentially ghosted me after I put down a deposit. The final insult was that i was handed only a single key to the van. This was a high-end, late-model van bought at a preimium price and Sunset couldn't see its way to providing a second set of keys. Tacky. So my take is, if you can't find what you're looking for anywhere else, Sunset will do. But if you can get the same vehicle elsewhere, you should do so. More
