We had a problem with our emission system and had it fixed by our mechanic in 2024. Afterwards, we received a letter from Buick talking about a recall on the emission system. We brought the paperwork to Travis, who turned it in for a reimbursement as the problem was the same as the recall. Unfortunately, Travis lost the only copy we had of the letter and our mechanic’s receipt. He re-submitted the paperwork, but then we were rejected. He mentioned something about the cutoff for reimbursement being 2020. We are very unhappy about this result. How do we get a letter in 2024 with a requirement that expires in 2020? Further, with the original letter gone, how can we properly discuss our case with anyone? We would like to discuss this with someone either higher up at your dealership, or with someone at Buick. We were told all along in the process that this item would be reimbursed. More

Lack of communication. Slow for work to be done. We dropped car off at 8:30am on a Tuesday for a 9:45am appt. It was estimated to be a hub problem based on service person Slow for work to be done. We dropped car off at 8:30am on a Tuesday for a 9:45am appt. It was estimated to be a hub problem based on service person driving it the prior week. At 3:15pm Tuesday I called to check on status. No one knew the status and asked if I needed the car or can it stay overnight. I optioned to leave it. Wednesday 2:15pm I called to check status. No one knew the status. At 2:45pm I receive text; My car repair was assigned to a worker that was scheduled to be off that day but reassigned to someone else. That person had an emergency off day Wednesday. The original person was working on another car’s engine Wednesday. So I now call… why work assigned to someone scheduled off ? Why not reassigned back when emergency came up ? When are you going to call me if it is a hub or something else ? Unknown will have service call me back. One hr later still no call so I call back. They find service agent who says they’ll let me know tomorrow. WHAT ???? What was done yesterday ? He does not know because he cannot get to the quote on the computer. Why I have no idea. So the car stays another night. Received an answer Thursday morning and car was then ready just after 4pm. Car rides fine so I assume the repair was done correctly. One last thing…we always had our work done at dealer, Bigelow, Axelrod. They ALWAYS washed the car before our pickup. I did not bring it up to anyone when I picked the car up. So curious; Why have you stopped that ? More

I purchased my vehicle almost 7 years ago from the Axelrod Family . I have never had my car serviced any where but the dealership . Travis in service is outstanding ! Took my truck ( 2024 GMC 2500 HD ) That for some reason would not start .He called a tow truck right away and started working to find the problem !
