Sullivan Cadillac

Visited the dealership last Saturday (6-8-24) to look at a used Ford Explorer. Once on the lot I was approached by salesperson (Daniel Barkelar) and advised him I would like to look at the listed vehicle if a used Ford Explorer. Once on the lot I was approached by salesperson (Daniel Barkelar) and advised him I would like to look at the listed vehicle if it still available. Daniel went inside and then came back out and advised me that this vehicle had just been sent to one of the other lots that the dealership owns in Cheifland Fl. But didn't know which dealership. I of course was disapointed I could not see the vehicle that day but understood his reasoning that Daniel explained to me that the dealership was wanting to move the vehicle to one of their other lots to give it new traffic as it wasn't getting any on this lot. Going to Cheifland was no big deal to me as the travel distance is an hour to either location from my home. Still interested in the vehicle and the vehicle was still showing under this dealership so I followed up about this vehicle today (6-11-24) via email with the dealership to see if I could obtain what lot the vehicle had been relocated to and was able to determine all the information Daniel had given me was nothing but a lie. I was advised that this vehicle was removed from the lot and taken to an auction lot to be auctioned off. Why did Daniel have to lie? What was the big deal? He could of just told me the truth and a deal could have been possibly been worked out. This is a perfect example of why people hate to deal with car sales personal. My guess is you don't even have a dealership in Cheifland. So just wanted to let you know not only did Daniel cost you a sale he cost you a customer for life. More

Great Dealership, drove an hour and a half and got there an hour before closing on a Saturday. Daniel, our salesman took the time to gave us a test drive and explaining all the accessories on a maxed out tr an hour before closing on a Saturday. We were in and driving our new truck home in about an hour and a half. Never once felt rushed, pressured or xx'ed. I have bought a lot of cars and would have to say this was one of the easiest purchases. Over all a great experience and I would definitely make that drive to Sullivan's again in a heartbeat. More
