This is an excellent driver, Not a freshly restored carThat being said the faded paint, amateur flame and painted pin striping is something you wont see much anymore! This 54 Chevy comes out of long-term ownership. It has been properly stored but not driven much in the last decade, however it starts really nicely, idles instantly, shifts perfectly, brakes well and goes down the road strait as an arrow. The interior appears to be original, the paint is old, but cool, lights and gauges work, does not spew smoke and everyone loves it. The underside is original and crusty in spots. The only real rot is in the rear cross member under by the bumper. That being said, Its not new rust, its old rust. These Bel-Air cars from the 50s have such a cool design and had numerous trim levels throughout that time frame. First generation cars were built from 1950 through 1954 and cost right around $1700 new. The power glide cars had over 100HP and could reach a 0-60 time in less than 20 seconds! This car does have the fender skirts that come with the car. This is a neat old Rod and would make someone happy for a long time.
