*1986 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16*® Designed as Mercedesâs first compact class vehicle, the 190E - known internally as the W201- offered buyers near-S Class levels of refinement, in a car that was easy to park in town and offered at a far more affordable price. Unlike most Mercedes which are equipped with an automatic gearbox, this 190E is fitted with a 5-speed manual with a dog-leg first gear - owing to its racing heritage. Power is then sent to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential.
