He owned and enjoyed the vehicle for the first 60K miles, then sold the car to a fellow California resident in 2002. Later in 2009, this M5 underwent a full exterior restoration and thorough Euro conversion including front + rear bumpers, headlamps, grills, complete reupholstered interior with OEM leather, manual front seats, rear headrests, euro dash with center vent and refinished 16 BBS OEM basket weave wheels. This vehicle is an outstanding driver-quality example, not quite concours condition, but still manages to impress all BMW fans and fellow car enthusiasts. Performance has been improved with a Euro exhaust header mated with a full length Supersprint exhaust system and managed by a Dinan engine performance chip. Additional Performance Upgrades include a Dinan Stage 2 Suspension with larger front + rear sway bars, Dinan front strut tower brace, HMS rear shock tower brace, AP Racing 4-piston front brakes, E34 M5 rear brake calipers and a 3.73 Euro M6 large case limited slip differential. This is the ultimate drivers M5 with a genuine Euro M5 appearance! The condition of this vehicle is impressive! The exterior paint retains a beautiful finish with few minor flaws or imperfections. All body panels have VIN tags intact. The interior is well-preserved with supple leather, clean carpets and no significant wear areas. The leather dash panel is in great shape with no abnormalities, cracks or signs of age. This M5 lived in California up until 2011 when it had 78K miles and then relocated with the next Enthusiast in Oklahoma where it was only enjoyed during nice weather.
