Seller's Comments

This is a turnkey, factory built race car ready to go to the strip and compete. This is also a wicked cool extremely rare and desirable collector item. It could be the center piece of any collection! you In car collecting terms, the COPO has been one of the most infamous and popular collector cars on the market. Those who understood what that meant were quick to scoop up all 69 of these made in 2017. This particular one was ordered and built originally for the Tasca Racing Family out of Rhode Island. They are a well known Ford racing family and ordered this COPO because there's nothing quite like it from the factory that offers a track only drag racing package that now run's in NHRA factory stock classes! Here's your chance to own a great collector car that was owned by a legendary racing family! EXTERIOR: This is arguably the best looking of all the COPOs built. Finished in a two tone Hyper Blue and Black. The car's color is as beautiful as it is menacing. Down the split of the two tone paint are giant vinyl graphics boasting the 350CI Supercharged engine that's the heart of this car. The lightweight hood has a massive cowl with hood scoop allowing cool air to pass through with ease. Not only does it make the front of the car look that much more appealing it's also functional too. The wheels are a two piece style professional polished lightweight Weld wheel, and they are wrapped in track only Hoosier slicks and skinnys in front. In the rear of the car is a brake assisted parachute system, and functional wheelie bars. INTERIOR: Inside the car has been stripped down for weight reduction. It still has a normal looking dash and doors, however there is no heat or radio controls. Instead they are replaced with toggle switches for the lights, battery, fuel, ignition and an ''on'' button. You still start the car with the start stop push Button. There's an aftermarket tachometer on the right hand side of the steering wheel. It also has a full NHRA spec roll cage updated to a 7.5 cage, lightweight racing bucket seats, Simpson racing harnesses and safety net. Replacing the stock shifter is a Hurst racing style 3 speed with reverse lockout, next to that is a handle release for the rear parachute. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Underneath the lightweight Cowl hood, is the very appealing, very impressive Whipple Supercharged 350 CI V8 pushing 580HP on a light tune. A couple small changes to pulleys and fuel and you'll be reaching a reliable 800+ HP if desired. The engine is also accompanied by an aluminum catch can system, Fuel pressure regulator, Long tube headers, aluminum radiator, and even an ice tank for the Whipple intercooler to rapidly reduce the temperatures after a hit down the track. The engine is mated to an ATI Racing Products Th400 style 3 speed automatic transmission complete with a Tree Master torque converter to safely handle all the power this COPO can unleash. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the trunk is completely bare metal to keep the weight reduced, You'll find dual batteries with a cutoff button that sticks out the rear bumper. There's also the fuel cell with braided fuel lines. Mounted to the inner top of the trunk is a voltage gauge for your batteries. Everything is cleanly mounted to the trunk floor and very clean. UNDERSIDE: Underneath is spotless, it features lightweight adjustable front coil overs, adjustable 4 link rear suspension, solid rear axle with a spool, 40 spline axle shafts, manual steering rack, lightweight 4 wheel disc brakes, 1 piece driveshaft, long-tube headers with exhaust dumps replacing the mid pipes. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appoin
