2022 BMW M3

BMWs F80 M3 was a big departure for the M3 line; it was the first turbocharged car in the cars lineage and also marked the beginning of the M3 name, denoting sedans and the M4 the coupes. But in classic BMW M fashion, these changes didnt keep the F80 from becoming the most successful M3 of all. BMW knew that for its incoming G80 generation, it needed to up the ante even further, leading it to produce the most capable M3 the world has ever seen. Debuting in September 2020, the G80 signaled a dramatic shift in styling, initially proving polarizing and the main talking point surrounding the car. But once enthusiasts got behind the wheel, it didnt take long for them to change their tune- appreciating the new design language while seeing the G80 M3 for what it is: a genuinely world-class sports sedan. Built in November of 2021, this 2022 BMW M3 Competition is finished in a shade called Tanzanite Blue II over a striking Kyalami Orange leather sports interior. Showing 19,023 miles at the time of cataloging, this M3 has been enjoyed but exceptionally cared for, with next to no flaws visible around the vehicle. This exterior color is one of the richest deep blues that BMW has ever offered- think somewhere between Carbon Black and LeMans Blue if you are referencing the E39 M5s color palette. One thing that BMW never misses on is wheel design, and the wheels on this car are no exception- known as the Style 826M, these snowflake-style wheels draw inspiration from numerous other wheels from the brands history but modernized to fit with the properly modern appearance of the G80. Moving inside, the Kyalami Orange works exceptionally well as a pairing with the deep blue exterior paint. The sought-after M Carbon Bucket Seats are truly impressive to behold- with their heavy bolstering and a combination of the Kylami Orange, black perforated leather centers, and black Alcantara on the bolstered sections. Carbon fiber trim lines the dashboard and center console and is accented with brushed aluminum on the door cards. A high-end Harman Kardon Surround Sound system is installed, providing outstanding sound quality and looking fantastic in the doors. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Inline-6, this M3 Competition is rated at 503 horsepower and 479 Lb-Ft of torque. As a Competition, this M3 is fitted with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic gearbox and mandatory xDrive All-Wheel-Drive with a performance tune. Although some people may look at this automatic-only, all-wheel drive layout as a strike against the Competition, it can't be argued with in a car focused on performance. The G80s suspension was developed on the Nurburgring, and road tests agree that this is one of the most exciting M3s produced by BMW. The handling is sharp, agile, and exceptionally tunable from inside the car, yet is remarkably supple around town, living up to the dual-purpose nature inherent to the M3 from the beginning. In preparation for the new owner EAG will be installing new Michelin 4S tires to utilize the vehicle's capabilities.
