So she looked online and a found this vechile. She did the application. Josh completed with the information provided on the same day. We went the next day and purchased the vechile. He was able to answer any and all questions that I had. I had been looking for a vehicle for about a month and at first they did not have what I was looking for that was in my budget, but Tay kept looking until he was able to find something that met my needs as well as budget. I would definitely go back to this dealership and this salesman for my next car purchase and recommend them to anyone else that is looking for a new or used car purchase. Another thing that impressed me was the fact that Tay had all the paperwork ready for me to sign when I got there so I did not have to wait around forever to get things signed and be on my way home. Nearly Perfect. I went to Landers McLarty DCJ to get my 2015 Grand Jeep Cherokee serviced. It was an early morning, so (while I waited) I took a low-threat walk arou I went to Landers McLarty DCJ to get my 2015 Grand Jeep Cherokee serviced. It was an early morning, so (while I waited) I took a low-threat walk around the lot....I'm not a fan of vulture-like salesmanship. I had been considering trading in my truck for a second Grand Cherokee, and had found one online that was supposedly on the lot. I couldn't physically locate it though, so I poked my head into the salesroom floor to ask about it. Even though it was 45 minutes before they opened, Joe Ashbury readily introduced me to Josh Craig. I gave Josh the VIN of the vehicle I was curious about, and he located it and postured himself to transport me to the location. I declined, and simply gave him the trade-in amount and terms I was looking for. I provided a contact number. I was pessimistic. I anticipated a call later on to the tune of "Boy do I have a deal for you" only to overshoot my terms by a ridiculous amount. Much to my surprise, I received a call from him that same day with terms that were better than I had requested. He and Joe had worked closely with the local banks and saved me thousands. I came in the next morning and we sealed the deal in less than an hour. Mr. Pickett in the Business/Finance office was a true professional, and gave me a great deal on GAP insurance that I would have thought was unaffordable. At Landers McLarty, synergy exists, and the employees work as one unit...it isn't a "this is the salesman's job" and "this is the finance personnel's job"...they communicate with each other along the way. It saved me from explaining my wants time and time again. I wish I would have purchased my 2015 Grand Cherokee from them....the experience I had when I procured it from one of the other "leading" Jeep dealerships in Norther Alabama was a far cry from how I was treated at LMDCJ. My only "complaint" is that I wished they could have coughed up the $286 to throw in one of those cargo security covers for the (I asked the guy back in parts how much one would cost....I didn't get his name, but he was really helpful too). It would be the difference between me giving the transaction a "10" versus a "9". That may be worth it to them though. Again...and excellent experience. More
Service Department I got my Jeep Liberty serviced here in July of 2015 with a complaint that my air conditioning was not holding freon and would not blow cold air. When I got my Jeep Liberty serviced here in July of 2015 with a complaint that my air conditioning was not holding freon and would not blow cold air. When I left the dealership, my a/c blew cold air for a couple weeks. Then it was time for the heat to be used as the weather was getting colder. This year, I call with the same complaint and the lady tells me the service is under a 24 month, unlimited mile warranty. So she schedules me an appointment for exactly 1 week later. The service department added dye, found a leak in the a/c line running from the condensor to the compressor. So fix it under the warranty since you didnt fix it last year!? NOPE. So I go to Josh(service manager) and he shows me my "detailed list" of services from last year. On my service sheet, it says that they recharged the system for $49.95. Then proceeds to tell me that they put dye in my lines LAST YEAR because there was a leak LAST YEAR. But, he states that it is not shown on the service statement that they did that service last year because they didnt charge me for it. After telling me that there was a leak last year, i question WHY wasn't it fixed last year and why try charging me to fix it this year. ALSO, why was the service not documented? How is he supposed to know hat they put dye in it last year if it was not documented!!? So, he tells me there was a leak last year but it didnt get fixed and now they want to charge me AGAIN to fix it this year BECAUSE it was NEVER fixed last year. Also, this is a big company, and I find it very unprofessional that Josh tells me a service that was done last year was not documented. I expect ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING they do to my vehicle be documented whether they charge the customer or not. Clearly the service manager needs to be trained and the service employees need to also be properly trained to fix problems rather than just doing a temporary fix. And why tell me that I have a warranty on the service that I can't even use because THEY NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM LAST YEAR. I will NEVER recommend someone to get service done at this location. Poor service and very poor service management. More
I have finally bought my Ram Truck I have wanted Robert Sawyer and Henry Steedley worked together to get my Ram lined up. Robert had to leave for a family emergency, and Henry took over. Henry took the time even after the sale was completed to make sure I understood my new Ram, and even linked my phone to my Ram for me. Robert sold me a Jeep in January, too. Anthony Picket in finance dept. has once again, worked out my financing. I will always ask for Anthony with any future finance needs. He listens to my financial situation and future plans. I do not feel belittled or judged. Anthony makes the sale happen. I have bought a few Jeeps from here, and this is my first truck. I am enjoying my new Ram very much. More
