Overall bad experience. If you don’t work for Nike or Intel I purchased a certified 2015 Porsche for $55,000 dollars. I loved my new Porsche. I had an ok experience purchasing my car. Other than feeling like a I purchased a certified 2015 Porsche for $55,000 dollars. I loved my new Porsche. I had an ok experience purchasing my car. Other than feeling like a second class citizen because I don’t work for Nike or Intel. Unfortunately a week after I purchased my car my wife broke her back, and is going to be out of work for a couple of months. We are in the middle of purchasing a new home, and I won’t be able to use her income. This forced me to sell my Porsche. I contacted Sunset Porsche, and I told them my story. The best they could offer me to buy back my car was $45,000 dollars. Remember this is just one week of having the car and only driving 45 miles. The used Car Manager said it was the best they could do, because the car would have to go back through certification. This sounded crazy. Fortunately I contacted the local BMW dealership (Kuni BMW). They were able to give me $52,000 dollars in cash for my car. Even CarMax offered me $51,000 dollars. I just moved to the area, and I was looking to build a relationship with an honest and fair dealership. Over the last 10 years I have purchased for me and my family over 20 cars, and trucks. Companies need to care about their customers, and develop a long term relationships. I should have not had to go to a competitor of Sunset Porsche to be treated with compassion. More

Took care of me on my road trip My wife and I were traveling from Lake Oswego to the coast, then along the coast and back inland to Albany, OR. We stopped at McMinnville to see the Evergreen Aviation Museum, and when we were leaving my wife noticed a clicking sound from the right rear. It turned out to be a screw embedded in the tread of my right rear tire. This was on Day 30 of a 33-Day road trip. Choosing the best option for repair, tire replacement, and trying to get home on schedule was challenging. I called John Schindel, the Service Manager at Sunset Porsche and asked quite a few questions; John was very helpful and agreed to .get me in for service if I was able to get to Beaverton. Fortunately, my tire held pressure, and we arrived mid-afternoon. A replacement tire wouldn't be available for a couple of days. We met with Service Advisor Gabe Wiley and I requested a temporary repair to allow us to travel home. We were treated great by all employees at Sunset Porsche, and the temporary repair worked fine. I ordered a new tire for local delivery and installation; it was installed the next business day after I arrived home. More

Service visit I brought my Panamera in to have the trunk button looked at.
