Satisfied customer I've bought two Mazda CX-5s from Modern and been very happy with the way the sales process has gone in each instance. I actually had the first vehicle I've bought two Mazda CX-5s from Modern and been very happy with the way the sales process has gone in each instance. I actually had the first vehicle. a 2014 (purchased in 2013), for three years, and had no plans for a new one because I still had two years to go in paying off the loan. However, out of the blue, I was contacted in May 2016 by my original sales rep, Kim Gelada, who proposed the idea of my upgrading to the latest model and said she thought it could be arranged that my monthly payments would be about the same (provided I made another down payment comparable to my original one). Needless to say, this sounded appealing since I drive a lot for my job, and had put nearly 90,000 miles on the car during those first three years. What I probably appreciated the most, however, was that Kim took a low-key sales approach and did not apply any pressure once I indicated some interest. I actually waited several weeks to get back to her, and when I did, the low-interest rate she'd offered me was about to expire because it was the last day of the month. Not wanting to pull the trigger quite that quickly, I decided to wait and see if the same interest rate would be available the next month. When Kim learned that was the case, she called me back the following day and then arranged for a car in my desired color to be delivered within about 10 days. More
