The service department is very inexperienced. My truck would turn over but wouldn’t start after coming out of the grocery store. I had it towed to Jerry’s because it was so close even though I had a bad experience with them already. 1 week in they said they still couldn’t diagnose the problem. After two weeks they said it was the wires and spark plugs. Cost $1300 almost $800 of the was “labor”. Then called and said that didn’t fix it that I would need a new engine, $9800. I laughed because the last place I’d ever install an engine would be there. They said well we can’t get it started still. Three weeks after taking it in I picked it up and took it home. Replaced the battery the ruined and it started right up. Drained the gas because I figured bad gas was the problem in the first place. Put in new gas and it runs like a charm. In conclusion, I’m out: $300 towing fees $200 battery the ruined $1300 in parts and labor it didn’t need at all. Over bad gas 🤣🤣 They said I needed a new engine. RUN!!!!!! There’s a reason their reviews are terrible!!!!! More
Don’t go to Jerry Durant Chevrolet in Granbury for service unless you have a spare vehicle to use. Vehicle was dropped off and after a week, it still hadn’t been looked at. I retrieved my vehicle as I needed transportation to work as they didn’t have loaner vehicles. I was placed on the loaner vehicle list in Oct 2023. Dropped off vehicle again in January after getting no response on a loaner vehicle. The vehicle has been there two weeks and still hasn’t been fixed. I was told they only have one loaner vehicle and there was a waiting list for that one. Absolutely ridiculous.! More
We have a $70K 2023 Chevy fleet truck with less than 20,000 miles on it and are doing a job in Granbury when all the dash lights came on and it would not run. We towed the vehicle ($250) in to Jerry Durant Chevy Service Dept, after calling and making sure they could take it in. 8 days later and numerous unanswered phone calls and ZERO, returned calls from our Service Advisor Lisa, we had it towed back home to Don Hewlett Chevy in Georgetown, Tx ($900.00). Just 2 days later the Service Dept at Don Hewlett called to say the batteries were out, that's it! The batteries! Batteries that are under warranty. If Jerry Durant Service Dept had just plugged the truck in they could have fixed our truck and had it back up and running same day saving us almost $1,200 in towing fees not to mention 10 days of a brand new truck out of commission. That's a lot of money for us due to bad from the factory batteries. I don't think this is what Chevrolet would be proud of, this Dealer is in dire need of new Management at the very lease. The batteries were replaced under warranty at no cost to us and we are back up and running thankfully! DON'T BUY FROM JERRY DURANT CHEVY....GO DOWN THE ROAD A WAYS TO DON HEWLETT CHEVY AT 7601 IH35 - GEORGETOWN TX 512-681-3000 where you get service after the sale. Danger, stay away. I've been taking my diesel truck there for the last few years for service and always poor customer experience. 8 days ago I took my truck in because I've been taking my diesel truck there for the last few years for service and always poor customer experience. 8 days ago I took my truck in because the trailer brake controller stopped working and the battery died, its little bit of a problem because I tow a 14,000 pound trailer and I need trailer brakes. After 4 days of no information I called and they said 3 vehicles were in front of me, that was last Wednesday. After calling on Friday they still have not even looked at it which means their tech only looked at 3 vehicles in 3 days. Today 8 days later they still have no information for me and can't tell me a schedule when they can even look at it to diagnose it. I called the service manager last Friday and left a message, he won't return it either. Hopefully I can get it back someday, clearly when I get my truck back I won't be taking it there. More

I took my 2017 silverado crew cab to check drivers sear not working properly. A year ago They took it apart and over $600 to fix . I told them I could afford it right. They did not give me the parts back until I went in and demanded the, It took over 30 minutes and the service manager was very rude and disrespectful . The plastic seat back was broken. Alos my wear grard phone cup holder was gone along with 5 Nintendo switch games. I ask them about the missing items. Over $375 ,, I called several times and they denied knowing anything about my missing items. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone !Funny will not let me check No to recommend this dealership ! More
I have a fleet truck and personal truck that I tired taking here. Both times they were quick to get truck looked at but terrible at communicating when it was done.
