Had to have my car towed to Acra in Greensburg when it started catastrophically overheating. They kept my car for three full weeks. A week and a half of that was them convinced it was the head gaskets, started catastrophically overheating. They kept my car for three full weeks. A week and a half of that was them convinced it was the head gaskets, but eventually they realized it was a bad thermostat (which I had told them had gone bad when I dropped it off) and fixed that. When I finally got it back, I was told it would be able to make it all the way to Indianapolis just fine, and that a certain repair (cooling fan) was needed sometime in the future. I got ten miles down the road and my car overheated again. Took it to a mechanic I know and trust who's more local to me than Acra was and had them fix the cooling fan. They did so and the car continued to overheat. Turns out the radiator was clogged. Acra had the car for three weeks and were unable to diagnose a clogged radiator. What's more, when I called up to complain I was treated very rudely by the service manager, who came within a hairsbreadth of calling me a liar ("I can't believe that a clogged radiator was the issue but you're telling me that so I have to believe it") and then hung up on me.
