I was looking for a dependable car in mid to high 20K range. Did the ground work on Edmunds and got multiple quotes. Checked other car models.
Bill G. from Atamian did immediate reply to my request. After couple phone calls, went to the dealership, met Bill and had initial chat. He introduced me to Jim Grammas. Very professional, no pressure and he gave
the car for test drive. Came back and gave my price and he accepted, threw
couple of freebees :-). The entire car purchase experience was very pleasant and short. Bought Accord EX-L V6. Car is totally awesome and no comparison to older Accords. I recommend Bill and Jim tag team without any hesitation. I am looking for same experience with service folks. Let see what happens.

The sales experience was pleasant and low pressure. They were able to answer all of our questions and, best of all, there were no surprises or unexpected costs. We solicted internet quotes on Honda Odysseys from the Honda website and received the best quote from Atamian. There was no haggling or surprises and the price was honored on the in-stock vehicles. If we asked questions that the salesman didn't know, he quickly found the answer. After the purchase, they spent an hour making sure we understood how everything in our vehicle worked. The salesman checked in several times to make sure we were happy with the purchase. Overall a very good experience.

The price was right in line with others as well - the value was there. All staff members were courteous and professional. They were able to get me financing in a short period of time and explained thoroughly the process. I love my new car and am very happy that I was able to deal with the folks at Atamian VW.

The experience at Atamian was top notch. Jim and Bill were both courteous, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The entire process was fantastic. No haggling. No stress. It all happened so quickly and smoothly.

We are really happy with the negotiated price and the CR-V. We recommend anyone in the market for a Honda or Volkswagon should consider Atamian (Jim and Bill in particular).

I was very pleased with everyone I dealt with at Atamian Honda, they are professional & most importantly honest & do not play games like other dealers giving you a different price on the phone just to get you in.

I had just about decided to keep my old car 99 Honda CRV so I did not have to deal with garb I was getting from other dealers, Commmonwealth Honda included.

I am glad there are still honest, dealers out there who's man concern is the customer.

"EVERYONE" I have dealt with at Atamian goes out of their way & treats you with respect & thoughtfulness, they are great!

I certainly would not hesitate for one second to recommend them to anyone I know that is looking for a car!

I would recommend Atamian because of the friendly atmosphere, my sales person has called me to check and make sure I liked my new car and that everything was OK. Also, within the past 6 months or so their service has improved. I would sometime wait up to two hours for an oil change now I am in and out in a half an hour.

I would just like to take a moment to explain my experience in purchasing my new Honda CRV from Atamian Honda. I have never bought a car brand new and I have never done it on my own for that matter. So needless to say, I was a little nervous about the whole thing.
The whole reason that I even went into Atamian is because of Bill Goulette. I had been negotiating prices with him through email. He was very prompt in responding to me and seemed to have a genuine intrest in helping me find a CRV that would fit into my price range. I had no intention of stopping by the dealership unless I knew I could get the price I was asking for. Bill eventually agreed and I went in the very next day.
When I got to the dealership Saturday afternoon, it was insanely busy. I almost turned around and left because I thought I would never get a salesman to help me. I was pleasantly surprised when I was immediatley greeted and then introduced Bill. Bill was with another customer at the time, but Jimmie Tringale immediatley stepped in and volunteered to help me out.
Let me just tell you...Jimmie Tringale is hands down one of the best salesman I have ever met. I know that he typically is not "on the floor" selling cars, but I truly lucked out that day to have been able to have dealt with him. This man is truly an asset to Atamian Honda. He went above and beyond in taking the time to go over everything with me. I did not feel nervous or intimidated whatsoever. I felt as though I was speaking with a family member. I ended up purchasing the car that day and was told that I could pick up the vehicle on the following Monday.
When Monday came, I recieved an email from Jimmie first thing that morning. He contacted me throughout the day several times, giving me an update on the progress. There were a few problems with the registration, but Jimmie bent over backwards and jumped through hoops to get me in that car by the end of the day. I am still amazed at how dedicated this man is. He continued to take the time to go over all the final details and proceeded to show me all the features inside the vehicle.
When I drove off the lot, I felt proud of myself that I made this purchase on my own. I felt comfortable in knowing that I got a dependable vehicle for a great price. Jimmie made this purchase a painless one and I could not Thank him enough for that. I have been recommending people to Atamian Honda ever since I drove off with my new vehicle. Its a "No-Brainer" that I will do business with them in the future.

Overall the Atamian team does a great job. They usually go above and beyond to make sure you leave happy. The only negative thing I have to say is the registration process can be a bit time consuming, but considering the other great services you receive it makes it all worth while in the end.

He had excelelnt follow up and worked with me via email, which was my prefernce and answered all of my many questions. He was very patient with me. We decided to buy from Atamian becasue of Bill and the price we worked out, but we had excellent service with James Grammas who was assigned to finish up the sale with us! I went in interested in buying a new Civic. Talked to a Salesperson and tried to negotiate a deal for slightly less than invoice. I didn't feel guilty offering them less than invoice knowing that they got $400+ back from Honda after the sale and they had a $300 paperwork fee...so they were making some $ off the deal. They rejected my offer and I went on my way (after the standard sales pitch BS). I received a call from the Salesperson a couple days later saying that they received the model and color Civic that I wanted and were now willing to give me the car for my previous offer (slightly below invoice). I asked if there was any contingency on the offer to make sure they wouldn't require me to finance through them. The salesperson assured me that they didn't care where I got the financing through...they just wanted me to come in that evening and close the deal.

I came in that evening as promised, went through the process of signing forms and giving them my info. While I was there, the salesperson discovered that the car they were going to sell me was already sold. The salesperson assured me though that they could get another in a couple days and would still honor our agreed on price. They charged my credit card for the down payment and I sat down with their financing guy to review the financing options (I figured so that I could see their best rate and decide if I wanted to finance with them or not). While talking to the finance guy, he told me that I could only finance through them for me to get the car at the agreed on price. He told me that the salesperson was wrong. Since their rates were 2% above what I could get elsewhere (e.g. eLoan.com), I decided against financing with them and said they would not sell me the car. After expressing my frustration that they lied to me and waisted my time (1+hours waiting to close the sale) they refunded me my deposit.

I wish I checked out this site before I went to Atamian. My experience sounds similar to the bait-and-switch deals about which other reviewers complained. The sign of a good dealership is that if they make a promise, even if it turns out to be a mistake, they will honor their promise. Atamian failed this litmus test. Needless to say, Atamian has forever lost my business. Buyer beware!

I had given my 2000 Honda Accord car for service after my CEL turned on. Ms. Betty was my representative at Honda. They charged me $95 for Diagnosis. The reason for the CEL as I was told was that, I need to change the Alternator, Tensioner, and Belt. She wouldn't let me buy the parts from somewhere like Autozone where these 3 parts would cost me $170 and rather ordered the parts from the Honda Parts which cost me $375. On the day when the parts were ordered, she quoted me $320 for labor when I drop off the car once the parts arrived.
After the parts were fixed up, my labor charge was $400. Luckily, I remembered the paper in which she had quoted me $320 for Labor. I took it to another representative Mr. Mike Alford, who quickly noticed the over charge and made the correction back to $320 without any ado.
My total cost for replacing (after correction) the alternator, belt tensioner, and belt was $850. That is a totally ridiculous pricing by any standards considering that this car is 7 years old now.
Don't ever take your car Honda Service, even if you have to don't take it to Atamian Honda, even so if you have no other choice but to take your car to Atamian Honda, do not take it to Ms. Betty.

We had a very similar experience to another reviewer. Negotiated a fair price including $3500 for a trade (which was very fair to a little low) even though their paperwork showed a trade-in allowance of $6900 (no way worth that). Had to bring the trade back, so 2 hours later (back and forth home) the deal changes so the trade is only worth $2200-$2500 and now the price is over $1000 higher than negotiated. We were furious! We demanded the negotiated price or said we'd walk. The manager was fine with that, shook our hands and walked away! NEVER EVER again will I step foot on that dealership's lot! TOTAL bait and switch. STAY AWAY!

My Review of Atamian Honda:
I was new in The area and had 2 Honda vehicles, Odyssey and Accord. This place was convenient for servicing. We moved from Dallas, and compared to the experience I got there (dealt with the same dealership for 8 years), this place is really bad.
1. They seem to lack the Honda training - it combines European car dealership and Honda dealership in teh same place, with employees dealing with both. As a result, they like to quote high and expect people to pay it.
2. They quoted 80% more than the Honda dealership in Nashua (Peters Honda) for changing timing belt & waterpump! And quoted higher two other dearler I called by at least $300/-
3. Never give them work when you are in that place with the car. Take your car out, get quotes and go back only if they are fine. y bet - you will never get big work done.
4. The service is not very thorough. They did oil changes, services on both vehicles. Sometimes, they write the next service/date. Sometimes not. I am sure the lack of a uniform training/process is reflected elsewhere.

The ONLY reason I would go there is because it is closer, even though the service folks are not even remotely genuinely helpful

I was quoted a price for a 2006 2.5 Jetta. I agreed to the price. I asked what they would give me for my trade - it went from $200 -$300, to $100 and then back to $200. I was told they did not want the trade in but they would "do me a favor". I said I was not sure about keeping the car or not. I was told "no problem". If you don't bring in the trade you will just pay the $200 we were willing to take off the price. I decided not to let them do me a favor and I kept the $200 car. I again agreed to the original price, put 1/2 down on the car, went back the next day to pick up the car and pay the balance and guess what. They want above and beyond what they were willing to give me for my trade in. They refused to give me my check back. I believe this was a very deceptive practice. They acted in bad faith. I am forced to put a stop payment (at my expense) on the check I had given them. I should have known not to do business with them when I observed one of the sales managers screaming at a customer who was driving away. I am left to believe that they are a business that has a history of doing this to customers.

I cannot recommend this dealer. I have had a few of the major services done on my Honda by Atamian. They are expensive, even by Honda dealer standards, but I continued to use them because their location was convenient and I expected I would get better service for the extra cost. It turns out that is not the case. A part I bought from them and had installed failed prematurely and should have been covered under the part's warranty. Atamian required expensive labor charges to "prove" that the part was at fault for the failure and would not refund that charge, even if they did prove that the part was at fault. I expect more from a dealer if I am going to pay the extra costs to go to them.

Most of the service advisors I have dealt with just do their job and aren't excpetionally friendly or helpful. Jason who helped me on one service is an exception- he was helpful and friendly and made getting my car worked on a pleasant experience.

I have no complaints about the quality of work that they perform. Aside from the one premature part failure, I have not had any problems with the work they have done.

From the moment I walked in I new it was the right place to be. No pressure, everyone said hello and I bought the second car I drove. The service dept is second to none and that's the reason my husband and I went back and bought our insight. We tell everyone...it's not just the vehicle, but the service that makes the difference!
