Unfortunately, Jason’s review does not accurately reflect what transpired during this transaction, and we would like to provide clarity for future customers. Jason flew in from California to personally inspect and test drive the Camaro prior to purchase. After spending time with the vehicle and completing the inspection to his satisfaction, he chose to purchase it and drove it back to Riverside without incident. Several days later, Jason contacted us claiming there was a clutch issue. When we requested additional information and documentation, the concern then changed to a missing under-hood sticker and allegations of a VIN swap. We take accusations like this very seriously, so we immediately reviewed all documentation, including title records and purchase records from the licensed auction where the vehicle was acquired. We found no evidence supporting his claims. Despite this, we still offered a solution by arranging for the vehicle to be inspected at an independent third-party service center near his home, and we stated that if his claims were validated, we would take the vehicle back immediately. Jason declined the inspection and instead requested funds without releasing the vehicle or providing supporting evidence. At AZ Auto Gallery, transparency and integrity are extremely important to us. We provide Carfax reports on our website and disclose all known information on every vehicle. So yes, the clutch master cylinder failed. I have photographic evidence of that. This is what in fact lead me to discovery of the Vin swap. The dealer is lying about what happened after that. They basically told me they thought I was lying about the vin swap. They asked me to take it to a Chevy dealer, which I did. The Chevy dealer also concluded that the vehicle vins did not match and it had been Vin swapped. I provided that info to AZ Auto Gallery. They didn't believe me, and had to speak to the tech that did the inspection. Again, implying that I was lying about the Vin swap. They finally spoke to the tech, and he confirmed what the paper document stated. I demanded a refund. After jerking me around about a supposed settlement for 3 weeks AZ Auto Gallery decided there was another hoop I needed to jump through to take the vehicle to the entity that sold it to them. A party that I have no issue with. A party who has a vested interest in the outcome. My issue is with AZ Auto Gallery. They sold me a car that has been Vin swapped. If they have an issue with another party that's their business. And after I provided the proof that they asked for, they decided that I should deal with their attorney. They clearly do not want to provide the refund. I can provide additional photos of the Chevy dealer inspection and emails from AZ Auto Gallery that back up my version of the story to anyone who's interested.

I spoke to the Auto Auction that AZ Auto Gallery is talking about here to inspect the vehicle. They would not deal with me, a "member of the public". They would deal with the dealership that purchased the vehicle from them. In fact their head of sales told me that he was very surprised they hadn't provided me with a refund after I had the car inspected by Riverside Chevrolet. AZ Auto Gallery is now refusing to talk to me at all and keeps pointing me to their attorney. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this dealer.
