My Review of Acura of Bellevue:
We recently purchased an Acura RDX with the wonderful assistance of Minh Dang. In over 35 years of purchasing vehicles, Minh was, without question, the most knowledgeable and helpful auto representative we ever worked with. He never pressured us to buy a car, but his overwhelming enthusiasm for his product certainly led us in that direction. In preparation for purchasing our new vehicle, we also talked to representatives of BMW, Lexus, and other auto makers. None were nearly as helpful as Minh. In one test drive, with seemingly no effort at all, Minh was able to demonstrate the stability and handling of the RDX, the ease of the "bluetooth" connection to our cell phones, and many of the delightful features of the navigating system. What is perhaps even more important, though, is the time he took with us on the day we picked up our purchased vehicle in order to set up all the systems so that our car would be personalized specifically for us. The two hours that he devoted to us on that day, and his ongoing offers to answer questions and to educate us about features, made us feel like some of your most valued customers.

We don't usually email businesses about our experiences. In fact, I don't believe we ever have done so before. But Minh and the experience he provided for us deserve recognition. Barbara and Dick Clinton

My Review of Acura of Bellevue:
I wanted to write you all a letter and let you know how thankful I am for all of your help. It was so refreshing to get a car for such an awesome deal and not get ripped off for once. I have definitely had my share of some major “upside down” moments and the deal I received at Acura of Bellevue was quite amazing. Everyone there was extremely friendly and I could not have asked for anything more. Jim was very helpful in the initial car finding, car costs, and the game plan for the day I was to come in. I really felt taken care of. Alan was absolutely awesome with showing me the ins and outs of the car like setting up Bluetooth. I really left feeling like I knew how to operate the car. Kim was so sweet and friendly during the signings and financial portion of the day. My husband and I are looking into buying an SUV in the next year and I would definitely love to come back to Acura of Bellevue. Thank you all again so much for your kindness and assistance. I will never choose to buy anywhere else again.

Sincerely,

Kendra Tuckness

My Review of Acura of Bellevue:
My name is Raymond Lau and I bought a 2008 RDX from Leonard Stewart a few days ago. People tend to write/call when they have a complaint. Well, I am writing because I want you to know how happy I have been with Leonard Stewart since I first met him last Sunday in the show room -- and he continues to amaze me with excellent services after he closed the sales!

My wife and I set out to buy a new Lexus RX350 or Acura RDX. My wife drives a Lexus GS and both she and I have been very happy with its performance and services provided by Lexus of Bellevue, however, we decided that if the RDX is "economic enough", we would take an RDX and save a few bucks -- $5,000 was our threshold. Well, the 2009 RDX was only $4,000 less than the RX350 and did not make the cut; Leonard suggested the 2008 RDX which met our threshold plus a little more. But it was an apple and orange comparison, 2008 RDX Vs, 2009 RX350. We decided to go with the RDX SOLELY because how well we were treated by Leonard through out the entire purchasing process.

Leonard's excellent service did not stop with the close of the sales, he called me several times over the week to make sure that I learned to use all the features the RDX offers and then took me on another "test drive" Friday afternoon -- on his day off! While at your dealership last Friday, Leonard took time to introduce me to Tom Story of your Service Department to make sure that I have a "friend" to go to when I bring my car in for service in the future. Now, this is service beyond the call of duty!

Congratulations, Mr. Kelley, for having such a solid employee on your staff. And thank you very much for a wonderful experience. We definitely will remember Acura next time we are in the market for a luxury car.

Raymond C. Lau

My Review of Acura of Bellevue:
I know what to expect when you go thru "the process" of buying a car: the game, the negotiations, etc. Ultimately, we received a good deal for the car...but it was the after service that I was greatly displeased with from the finance dept to the feeling of being "belittled" and deceived.
When we signed our forms for the car, we were offered a high APR in which we decided to go to a credit union to receive a better rate. Afterwards, we were supposed to bring back paperwork by a certain date to verify the loan. When I looked up the different rates later, I found a CUDL link (credit union direct lending) from a credit union site in which I found my exact car (checked car's VIN # and all) from that exact dealership that I had just purchased but with a much lower rate that ACURA could offer. So I called the finance dept. the next business day about this new discovery in which the lady hung up the phone abruptly after not answering the question and did not direct me in a direction where to find out more information.
The next day, I made my way over to the credit union (BECU) and had them verify if the APR listed on the CUDL link to see if it was something they could take care of. They faxed their forms and a copy of the CUDL listed APR I printed to different people trying to verify the rate and found it was something that should have been dealt with by the dealer. So while I was at the credit union, I contacted a manager from Acura of Bellevue relaying my information in which he told me that what I had found online was wrong and that I should just go w/the credit union's rate. I was frustrated by the fact that I had found something viable thru the credit unions site linked to Acura of Bellevue’s branded site from CUDL, but I was even more exasperated by the fact no one was taking any responsibility to direct me towards a certain person who could verify/investigate my claim. I opted for the BECU's rate (which was much lower than the dealer's APR) and contacted the finance dept. to confirm what paperwork I should bring in. The lady without the raspy/hoarse voice picked up and spoke with a VERY demeaning tone when I asked her questions. She had extremely poor customer relations skills from the point when I talked to her on the phone and till the point I brought in the paperwork and check from BECU.
I eventually walked over to the service/parts dept. to receive some paint for a chip on my car and found that Jay and Joe went above and beyond to deliver the best customer service I had ever received there. I was extremely impressed by their knowledge and care that I walked over to the concierge/reception desk to find if the dealership had a survey form and found that Lane was also helpful as well.
To tell you the truth, I love my new car but I would NEVER recommend anyone that I even remotely cared about to buy a car from this dealership. I felt everyone (on the sales side) had beaten around the bush by avoiding addressing any of my concerns.
As I researched the different rates for my auto loan, I also found that many other close friends had received superb customer service from the finance dept and managers at the Acura in Southcenter in which they guided and assisted valued customers thru the car buying process...

Not true, the facts on this missunderstanding.

These customers came in from looking at similar vehicles at other stores. When we came to a deal we both agreed on, this customer informed us that he had been told about a low APR % at another dealership. We told him it didn't apply to the model of car he was buying (a Certified RDX not a Certified MDX)and after running his credit he was also tier B, not a tier A beacon score. We then offered him the best rate we had available through Honda Finance. At this time said he could get "4% APR through his bank". We have CUDL access to all the credit unions. Even if the customer had told us they were going to BECU with tier B credit through BECU and not being BECU members their rate would be 5.49% (plus .50% for being new members). Dealers are unable to mark up any rates given to us by credit unions. If the customer would have told us that they wanted to use BECU and sign up as members we would have done that right on the spot, but the rate wouldn't have been 4%. If CUDL mistakenly put up an error on their site showing 4% APR, we would have no way of controlling this and it would be something to take up with BECU and the CUDL web site, not the dealership. We sell cars not interest rate's. The deal also originaly started with one buyer, and when the customer, now customers, brought the paperwork back there were two names on the contract. It is possible with the addition of a co-sighner that BECU moved them up to a tier A, then the rate would have been 4.99% plus the .5% for new members. Still not 4%.

I have been here for 15 years and almost all our staff have been here for many years. I am sure no one here hung up the phone on anyone, especially someone purchasing a car from us. I am sorry for this customers frustration with different bank rates, but we went along with the customers requests. They wanted to take the paperwork to thier bank to get a rate that didn't exsist to us, and when they found out it didn't exsist it became our fault. Not fair. Interesting that the store that told them about a low APR that didn't apply to the model of used car they were buying, and didn't apply to customers with tier B credit, is the same store this customer is praising. We are the bad guy for informing them on what the facts are pertaining to getting a bank loan.

My Review of Acura of Bellevue:
When purchasing a vehicle, I would recommend avoiding this dealership. Why, might you ask? because you will be lied to and not the full and up front truth will be neglected. I was given a finance rate when I purchased the car that seemed reasonable, and for a first time car buyer, I wasn't expecting the greatest rating in the world. But 3 days later, AFTER the time period in which I had to return the car to the dealership, I was told that my finace rate would be 4 percent higher. I know they may say there was nothing that they could have done, but I have since found out that that was not the case. If you don't mind being lied to, then Acura of Bellevue is the place to purchase your next car...

My Review of Acura of Bellevue:
I felt so insulted when I visited Acura of Bellevue. I was only there shopping for a vehicle fit for my commute, but I was pressured and pushed into buying a luxury car. I saw some nice cars for decent prices, so I asked them to humor me with a financing plan so I can gauge what I could afford. They offered me a 12% apr! I couldn't believe it and walked out. I thought there were some reasons behind such outrageous number, so I went to the bank and asked what they could give me for a 20k car loan, and they gave a figure of 5%--a huge difference. Further, I went and did some research on some of the selling points that the sale rep gave to me. I found most of them to be either exaggerated or even completely fabricated. I will never come back there again!

My Review of Acura of Bellevue:
Strongly recommend not stepping foot onto this dealership and never trusting a single word out of Tim Leo's mouth. I bought a used car from this dealership and was given only one key. The salesmen said the original owner traded the car in for a TL, so it wouldn't be a problem getting the keys. Called the salesmen later, and he told me the original owner was on vacation in Ellensburg. When asked about reimbursement for purchasing the keys (pricey since the keys have computer chips in them) he said "like i told you when you bought the car, I'll try my best, and if I can't get them there's nothing I can do." After getting the title transfer from the dealer, the original owner had sold the car to another dealership, and the car was sold between 2 other dealerships before making its way to Acura of Bellevue. Obviously Tim had lied to me about the original owner trading the car in there, and appearently doing "his best" to get the keys is making up more lies about what they've done to try and get the keys.
