My Review of Al Serra Volkswagen:
I have had a very disappointing experience with Al Serra and cannot recommend them. I went in 2011 to order a Golf R. I was told I was first on the list and should expect my R in January. When R's started to be delivered in January I called and asked when the car I order would be in. I was told February. I called today (February) and was told that a 2 door would be in during March (I ordered a 4-door) and that the 4-door would not be here until mid May. I cancelled my order and will go to Emich in Denver and take one of their open slots. When I am first in line with a 4-door and I can't get it that is horrible service. Also, there was not communication from them I had to call and leave messages and call again to get any response. Avoid Al Serra VW.

Great service Curtis in the parts office is the best. He is always helpful and knowlable about the parts he is selling. The parking is a little tricky at the service dept.

My Review of Al Serra Volkswagen:
For the past couple of weeks I have been shopping for a used car and had the pleasure of purchasing a car from Al Serra Volkswagen - North dealership. I worked with Ken Bittencourt who provided exceptional customer service and made the process enjoyable. I was trying to stay within a budget and considered several different makes of car at several different dealerships. By far, Al Serra Volkswagen was the most professional dealership with the most friendly staff of the places I visited. Some of the qualities that put Al Serra above the rest were:

Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

No high pressure sales and respect for my budget limits.

Timely and appropriate level of communication. Ken contacted me with used cars available that fit my budger but did not call constantly bugging me to purchase.

Professional negotiation of sale price without the numbers game and the back and forth checking with the "wizzard behind the curtain" for approval.

Quality used car that was checked and in excellent working condition. Ken Bittencourt reviewed and explained any comments on the used car checklist with me prior to purchase.

I would highly recommend Al Serra Volkswagen to my friends and family.

I have never had a negative moment with this dealership. Always very prompt and fair. You can call and talk to someone anytime. When you get there they are very attentive and prompt. If U were buying a product they carry that is the place I would go.

My Review of Al Serra Volkswagen:
The service has been great and would recommend this dealer to anyone. I have sent customers to your showroom and she bought a vehicle because she saw mine and love it. However, problems with sun-roof still exists. The service department has tried to locate the problem but it has not been corrected. It only happens occasionally. Love the car overall and the dealership is always helpful and courteous. Customer service is the best since I have moved to Alabama. Wish all stores had the same customer service philosophy.
