I had done some research on the type of car I wanted and stopped in to Anderson Honda to test drive a Pilot. That's when I met Denise McDonald. My overall experience was pretty good. The dealership locstion at cockeysville, MD is brand new and the facilities are great. One recomendation is to go prepared, not only to this dealership, but to all of them. They will try to get you to buy additional stuff, is up to you to make the decision, remember it is a business after all. The only negative thing i would have to say, was that i had to be very patient, since the deal seemed to take forever. I dont blame them since they have been at the new location for a few weeks. More

Well, I found this dealership online because they had a used car I wanted, an '03 Corolla LE, 32,000 miles, $10,995. I drove down, checked out the vehicle, and gave it a test drive. The vehicle was in good condition, and I liked the price, so I told them I wanted it. I went in and filled out all the financial papers to get the car loan, and gave them a $1000 deposit on the car. I was told that it was too late in the day to push the paperwork through and find out if I got approval, and that they would call me as soon as they had an answer. I called back the next day at lunch to get an update, and was told that they were still working on financing me the Corolla, but he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to push it through. He tried to push a Honda Civic "About the same miles, and same price" on me, which I really wasn't interested in, so the salesmen told me he'd continue to work on financing the corolla, and would let me know. I hung up, and didn't like the way the conversation sat with me, why try and push a vehicle that's the same money, same miles, when I had already decided and wanted to purchase the other one? I called back, and asked point blank "Do you still have the Corolla?" He had already sold it to another customer. I called back, and talked to his manager, who just gave me the run around about not being able to finance, and trying to put people in cars, etc, so forth. It's very simple. I gave $1,000 for that car. I had even already made other financial arrangements if the dealership finances fell through, but instead, they sold it before lunch the very next day, without calling me. I put down $1,000 for a at 8:30pm, at lunch the next day, the car was sold to someone else without ever contacting me. More
Sales Representative and Sales Manger were condescending, dishonest and rude. Price quoted did not match the sales contract at all. When I brought this to the attention of the sales manager and sales representative (at the same time) they both started shouting and bullying me. They both refused to acknowledge they had switched the price even after I showed them the florescent sticker from the front windshield of the car. They acted as if they couldn't hear me. Actually said I don't care what is on that sign, I only care about the number on this contract!. They also insisted splash guards, accent stripe and fenderwell door edge guards were REQUIRED manufacturer OPTIONS. If you value your money and your sanity, do not buy from this dealer. More
I was pleased with the person who sold me the car, but I was very unhappy with the financial manager. He talked me into buying services I didn't need, and he now won't refund my money. I cancelled all the extra services six days after purchase -- well within the 60 cancellation period -- but it's been four months and I haven't received my refund. He plays the slime-ball financial manager part to the hilt. I haven't had any service done on the vehicle yet, so I don't know how that will go. But DON'T purchase any additional services! I only say "yes" to recommending this place because I think that automobile financial managers are cut from the same cloth. As long as people know not to trust them or their slick sales pitches, they will be ok. More
