They m away. I made an appointment and when I arrived chuck had the car ready. I liked it, it drove nice and chucks description was very accurate. They made me a good deal. I received what I thought to beige than fair money for my trade. I already had financing and they offered to beat my rate ( I didn't think they could) and they got me a lower rate, much lower in fact b/c I told them a lower rate than what I actually had and they beat that!! LOL great experience, Will be back and definitely recommend More
I went to this location because I found a 2012 Nissan Sentra listed for $11994 on their site. It was a great deal so we drove the hour out to the dealership to meet with Charles who had called me multipl Sentra listed for $11994 on their site. It was a great deal so we drove the hour out to the dealership to meet with Charles who had called me multiple times and we had set up an appointment to test drive with. When we arrived he met us at the door and told us the car would be brought around soon that it was just being washed. He was very nice and we took the car for a test drive, brought it back, and told him we were ready to do paper work. He jumped right into the financing stuff and asking how much we would want to put down and at that point I asked what the total cost was going to be, and not only was the cost of the car actually $13000, but they also added $1995 for a "Maryland State Inspection Fee" and an additional $995 charge that he didnt even explain, bringing the cost before tax to nearly $16000 before tax. We argued with him for a bit and tried to get him to explain in what universe a Maryland State Inspection costs $2000, to which he said the way they come up with the price is the "average" of all cars that they get inspected because some cost "as much as $6000" to get inspected and if they added it to the price of the car being inspected it would never sell- so basically he said I was paying for someone elses car to be inspected. Not only is this ridiculous and a horrible business model, but after we talked with him for a while he said he could get it down to $13000 total before taxes, and went to go make the papers with his manager, only to come back and say the manager would only go to $14500. The fact that they hid $3000 of fees (adding an additional 25% to the price of the car) just to get more people to come in is just a shady business practice and made me loose all respect for this entire company. I hope that no one goes and pays these ridiculous fees because it is my understanding that any price you see listed for used cars will have these $3000 in fees added. More
I purchase a vehicle from Antwerpen Auto world on liberty road a 07 Audi A8. After taking possession of the car I returned it to the dealership because they had to do a vehicle inspection. After I received t road a 07 Audi A8. After taking possession of the car I returned it to the dealership because they had to do a vehicle inspection. After I received the vehicle newly state safety inspected I found that the tires were too small that they replaced the vehicle was leaking oil and while driving my 9 month old to daycare a cover under the engine became dislodged and I was stranded. I called the dealership and was instructed to get it off and then make an appointment for a repair. When I returned for the repairs the dealership stated that they would replace the tires because that was apart of the vehicle inspection as verified by Officer Hooper Md. State Transportation Administration who I met at the location. Today I spoke with the General Manager Matt Applebee, who stated that they were not willing to replace the missing part that it was cosmetic although as a result of the missing part the car has a noise of something flapping in the wind whenever you drive it. I informed Mr Applebee of the condition of the car and I also ask him to test drive the car to observe for himself my concern in addition too informing him that the finance company stated that they were unable to fund the purchase until some documentation was submitted by me. Be mindful that I just committed to a 30 thousand dollar investment and Antwerpen is not willing to restore it to the condition it was originally purchased but intend on bullying me as the consumer. We concluded our first call divided . Mr Applebee returned the call and said that they car was already funded which was untrue and that if I didn’t pick the car up it would be left to the finance company. I initiated this deal within the last two weeks have not driven the car over 1000 miles per both the state guidelines for a 30 day warranty and the state vehicle safety inspection guidelines. In speaking with Mr. Applebee he stated that I could return the car although it is still in their possession for the repairs, but he stated that he would accept the car however he would pursues me legally with a lien for Tax and Tags among some other cost as well as if what a stated about the condition of the car was true with the part missing he would also sue me for that as well. I responded that I would have an opportunity to appear in court if any such suit was filled. He stated that his organization has 3 Lawyers on staff to deal his organizations legal issues therefore my attempts to hold them accountable would be moot. It is my position that the vehicle should be in the same condition as I purchased and because of faulty maintenance procedures the part that fell of the vehicle when I was driving is a result of Antwerpen not safely securing the part after completing the maintenance and changing the oil. Here you have a multi million dollar organization taking advantage of the consumer and threatening the consumers as well taking advantage at every opportunity that needs to be exposed and held accountable for their business practices. I am now in a position where I have decided to hold them accountable and I need the assistance to expose their organizations business practices for what it is. More

Online ad of 3/5/13 showed price of $15,984 for Rav4, spoke to sales rep Sherry, no appt scheduled due to snowstorm of 3/6. Checked online ad 3/7 morning and price had increased $2000 with notation that another $1000 would be added for expected trade-in. So a $3,000 price increase before I even got there. Excuse told - "... not responsible for our ads because they're done by another company ..." Sales rep called and offered to look into the issue, called back and said the higher price was correct, and made a point of saying that we hadn't discussed price in our earlier conversation. Wrong. I specified which vehicle, stock number, price, etc. when I called to ask if that vehicle was still for sale. RIPOFF, SCAM, MAJOR xx EXCUSES. More
After going to 2 other dealerships stoped at this store and looked at several cars. I wanted an impala or charger. The salesman showed me a 2011 Impala. At the chevy store in Glen Bernie, the salesman t and looked at several cars. I wanted an impala or charger. The salesman showed me a 2011 Impala. At the chevy store in Glen Bernie, the salesman told me I could not buy the Imala because of my credit. After sitting with salesmanager Matt and he explained how much I needed down payment and what he could do my payments for, not only did I get the car I wanted, but it was loaded instead of the base model. I will tell all my friends that Antwerpen has the best cars and the best service. More
I found a car I wanted to buy on cars.com The price seemed very good at $5,994. I contacted the dealership and was told that the price was $7,700 plus tax. This was way over the advertised price. The s seemed very good at $5,994. I contacted the dealership and was told that the price was $7,700 plus tax. This was way over the advertised price. The salesman Erin described the mark up as $1,295 for state inspection since the car can’t be sold without state inspection, plus $400 dealer mark up. The Antwerpen Randallstown website said "Used Car Prices shown are after $1000 cash or trade. Price shown do not include taxes, registration fees, finance, and documentation charges of $200.00 not required by law, plus freight". I pointed out that the website advertised completely different and lower numbers. Erin, said it was the best price given to him by the manager. So I asked to speak to the manager about the unfair advertising and pricing. I spoke to Matt Applebee who identified himself as the general manager. Matt explained that the $1,000 was for a missing trade in, plus $200 for docs, and said it was disclosed on HIS website and he could not control cars .com. He now claimed that the $1,295 was not for inspection, but $1,200 was for the trade in and $200 documentation charges, and $400 for freight. This is a used car that has been sitting on their lot for more than a year, so I objected to the newly described freight charge. Matt Applebee made no apologies and I was upset. Then Mr Applebee said that he did not want to sell a car to me and hung up on me! Worst experience and worst customer service I have experienced. This goes back to the days when used car salesmen were scam men. These guys are making themselves look that way with low prices advertised they won’t honor (bait and switch) and multiple explanations for the additional costs. I really wanted to buy the car and I am sad that I was treated in this fashion. Very poor performance in the age of good business reputation and good customer service. I would never buy a car from any Antwerpen dealership. Just say NO t Jack!!!! More
I bought a 2009 Hyundai Sonata from this dealer the other day after seeing their used car ad on JackSaysYes.com. The price advertised was $13,495. I met the saleswoman (Diana) in Clarksville, MD at the Antwe day after seeing their used car ad on JackSaysYes.com. The price advertised was $13,495. I met the saleswoman (Diana) in Clarksville, MD at the Antwerpen Hyundai dealer and she told me I had to drive the car to Randallstown where the 'paperwork" awaited me for signature. Upon arriving in this discount dump of an old Chevy dealership in Randallstown, Diana and the manager (Erik) tell me that the internet price was just an advertising ploy to get me into the dealer and that they want fully 10% more for the car in "freight" fees on top of the taxes, tags and $200 doc fee advertised. As freight is only on new cars, I immediately balked on principle at the false advertising of the price. If anything, I thought I might even be able negotiate a discount to the advertised price! After Erik and Diana cried to me that they had to "eat" and wouldn't make enough money on the internet price (not my probl...em!) I reluctantly agreed to split the $1,300 fee. I have practically perfect credit and had been pre-approved for a loan with my bank. They dutifully offered to finance the car at a good rate just slightly above my bank's, so I politely said, thanks, but no thanks I'll finance it myself. Then Erik tells me that he'll have to charge me an extra $381 if I don't finance with Antwerpen (PNC bank). Now I'm really angry, as I realize I'm being conned out of over $1,000. I love the car, but have no ride home and have already invested over 3 hours in this charade, so I have little choice but to let them pressure me to go ahead. Leaving almost 5 hours after I started the process, I swore to myself I would file a complaint with the BBB and State's Attorney Gansler for deceptive sales practices and let everyone I know to stay away from Jack Antwerpen's used car dealers. Everyone uses the internet and the price is the price. If you have no intention of selling it at this price, you have no business advertising it at this price. That's called deceptive advertising and it's a crime. Imagine if Amazon, CarMax or BestBuy tried to add 10% to their advertised price...they'd quickly be out of business! Just say "No" to Jack! He lies about his prices! More

Briefly, I was told by the other car dealer that my credit was approved, but they were having a hard time trying to roll my negative equity with my trade in with the deal. I spoke to the manager of that dealership every other day for 2 weeks and was strung along until I was fed up. Anyway, Antwerpen Auto World was the total opposite. I told Mike Friend and Bazz Basnett my prior experience with the other car dealership and they told me that they were going to help me and get me into a vehicle and deal with the negative equity in my car. Bazz along with Gary worked tirelessly with the banks and surprised me with a vehicle 2 days later that I could purchase and trade in my vehicle. I appreciate their dedication and customer service. They were honest and sincere with helping me. I would recommend Antwerpen Auto World to family and friends because of the great experience I had. More
My husband had spoken to Bryson several times on the phone before we had actually got there. We live almost 170 miles away from there, but were very impressed with their prices and willingness to work w phone before we had actually got there. We live almost 170 miles away from there, but were very impressed with their prices and willingness to work with us so it was worth the trip. Bryson was out to greet us as soon as we arrived, and made us feel welcome from minute 1 ! He treated us as if we as if we were family, and we thought that was wonderful. Despite me being particular about what I wanted, he fixed us up with a great vehicle, and a great price. Gary was great there as well, working with us to stay in a budget that we could afford. They could not have been nicer to our family. I can't say enough wonderful things about these men, and this car dealership!. Thank you Bryson!! Thank you Gary!! Thank you Antwerpen Auto for making our experience wonderful!! I highly recommend everyone that is considering buying a vehicle, to look this place up. Well worth the drive!!!!
