Just had my 2007 Grand Prix in for tires and front struts. Picked the car up this afternoon after paying over 200 dollars more than the estimate! According to the invoice, I was charged $223.00 each struts. Picked the car up this afternoon after paying over 200 dollars more than the estimate! According to the invoice, I was charged $223.00 each for the struts when I was quoted $170.00 each! Then, I was charged $119.00 for an alignment even though I was never told they would do one AND it says on the invoice to check alignment “at no charge to the customer!” I have already left a message with the Service Manager and left an email with Nick Wagner, my service advisor! Let’s see what I get for a response! More

Improperly installed skid plate after oil change. I brought my car in today for an oil change and on my way home I noticed a thumping under my car. I pulled over, looked underneath and saw my plastic I brought my car in today for an oil change and on my way home I noticed a thumping under my car. I pulled over, looked underneath and saw my plastic skid plate dangling by a couple fasteners. I called and spoke to the manager and he offered to fix it. This is after I brought my car in earlier to have my wheels balanced, as I was having a bad vibration on my steering wheel. Only to be told I had a bad wheel bearing, which was causing the vibration in my steering wheel. Funny that I would fee a rear wheel bearing through my steering wheel, plus they didn't do the balancing that I asked them to do. i had another place balance my wheels and low and behold all vibration is gone. As for letting them fix my skid plate, why would I trust their work? Highly recommend you go some where else to get service. More

Like the fast Quick Lane area. The guy was very nice when I got my car fixed and fiqure out what was happening. I have gotten my oil changed at several dealerships/body shops. I had a coupon for here and did not expect much. When I got there, they were courteous, despite me presenting my coupon. They were engaged, fr shops. I had a coupon for here and did not expect much. When I got there, they were courteous, despite me presenting my coupon. They were engaged, friendly and kind. Very kind. It was the first oil change where I was presented with a good review for my car: I did not need an air filter change, my tired were good, I was not going to get in a possible car accident if I didn't get x,y,z checked out right away. It was fine, my car was fine and all I needed to do was pay. Not schedule future appointements or anything. And then I was still offered a free car wash, despite having a coupon!! It cost half of what I usually pay for a synthetic blend oil change, (even less with the coupon.) I actually would consider buying a car from here very soon because I felt they were honest, and had integrity. I think I found my new oil change place. More

I took my truck in to get a heater switch replaced. Later in the day, I got a call that my truck, with 45,000 miles, needed the back set of brake pads replaced. When I pick up my truck. I was given a bill fo in the day, I got a call that my truck, with 45,000 miles, needed the back set of brake pads replaced. When I pick up my truck. I was given a bill for over $2,000 for the brakes. I then asked to see the old parts. No one could find them. The bill showed that they had to pull both back wheel axles to change the brake pads. I checked with other garages. None of the other garages pull the back axles to change brake pads. I will never go back to Apple Chevy again. More

I came in for a tire rotation. Mike Ackerman asked if I needed an oil change (which I did? I said I had a coupon for another place. He said as it's my first visit and I work in the area, he'd do it for FRE needed an oil change (which I did? I said I had a coupon for another place. I had an amazing experience at Apple Chevy in Northfield for many reasons. First they were able to get my car in right away. As I pulled into the service area I was met by Ty the service manager. He helped for many reasons. First they were able to get my car in right away. As I pulled into the service area I was met by Ty the service manager. He helped me and my 2 children out of the car. He then explained everything he was going to do and showed me to the newly remodeled waiting area. In addition to the large chairs in front of the TV, they also have a few high tables to work at. Since my children were occupied in the kid room, playing with blocks at the kids tables I was able to get some work done while I waited for service to evaluate my car. After a little bit Ty came to check on us, letting me know it would only be a few minutes longer. When he came back he explained the current issues to me and included some recommendations about parts that should be monitored. He and his team were then able to fix my car and still accommodate my schedule! Now my car runs great and they made it an easy and convenient process. More

Chris Hayes is best service adviser I have ever worked with. I have worked with many across the country. He is genuine, and personable. He did all he could to fix the problem. He made sure the best techn with. I have worked with many across the country. He is genuine, and personable. He did all he could to fix the problem. He made sure the best technician would be there the day I would bring my car in. It has taken two tries to fix the problem and as always with cars he was open to the fact it may take another and to call him immediately if it does.
