I was told previously fixing my differential leakage was going to be around 400/500$, in the end technician successfully doubled that amount for just removing the cover of the axle and applying sealant arou going to be around 400/500$, in the end technician successfully doubled that amount for just removing the cover of the axle and applying sealant around it since the old one failed, I guess had to pay that because his hands got a little dirty during the process and also the axle’s lubricant is a very expensive one (total is less than 100$ if using motorcraft axle lubricant or half of that amount if using generic ones) all these for 3 hours of work, 4 hours tops, I highly doubt that but anyways, in the end I’m glad to say (after observing the cover of the axle) that they successfully put back all the screws of that cover and so far there isn’t any leakage, good job guys More
