My Review of Atamian Volkswagen:
The price has been clear and respected. No changes by surprise.
The contact was very good and nice. People really wanted to do me comfortable and happy. Everyone was very available.
What could be improved : Some financial options have been me proposed at the least minute (guaranty extended...). I've declined because I was not clear and suspicious. Maybe if I had had these proposals in advance I could have been interested in.

My Review of Atamian Volkswagen:
I needed to buy a vehicle very quickly, within the next couple weeks. I had already been trying to purchase a VW through my local dealership in Beverly, but they were taking very long to get back to me with options for vehicles, and each time they got back to me, basic things had not been met (such as presenting me with automatic Jetta's when I specifically said I wanted a manual). SO I emailed Atamian through your website with my specifications . Bill answered my email request within 24 hrs with a couple vehicles meeting my specifications exactly. He quickly made an appointment for me, and when I arrived at Atamian the next day, John was my sales rep. He was very knowledgeable and listened to what I was looking for. I purchased a Jetta on that visit, and then John made sure to quickly move with the admin items in order for me to be able to take the car home that evening. The next day I came back to get my registration and sticker, and John came in on his day off to help me with this. Two days later I have a new car, all items taken care of, and couldn't be happier with the service I received. I just wish you guys were closer to my home so I could take my Jetta to you for service.

Overall, a positive buying experience. Prenegotiated a very aggressive price with Bill over email prior to visiting, then was met by John who took me through the test drive and buying. A little bit of the back and forth with the financing, but this is pretty much expected with any dealership. Would recommend.

Best car buying experience I've had ever....from the time I walked into the dealership to the test drive to the transaction to driving the car off the lot - which all happened in one day. Efficient, honest & an all around great experience. I highly recommend this dealer and will be taking my car back for all the regualar service even though there is another dealer much closer to where I live. It's worth driving the distance to work with such great people.

I would recommend Atamian VW/Honda to anyone buying a new or used car. The sales/management staff was extremely attentive & knowledgeable & were more than happy to answer any questions I had. They were also willing to work with me in negotiating a more affordable deal for the vehicle I purchased.

My Review of Atamian Volkswagen:
I came to Atamian Volkswagen because I had found the Jetta Sportwagen SEL in the online inventory. Dealing with the salesguy Jim Tringale was a delight he was very professional but also good at putting the customers (me and my 5 year old daughter) at ease. I was somewhat less impressed with the total length of stay at the dealership. It took well over 2.5 hours to conclude the purchase. We waited for 15 minutes to get access to the car because other customers were looking at it. That is acceptable and just bad luck on our timing. The test drive was of good length on a diverse set of roads. But the administration at the end was certainly lengthy.

I was also less impressed with the unwillingness to negotiate the purchase price much at all. I had a quote from another Volkswagen dealer that offered more than $2000 off a bit more loaded SEL wagon and was still willing to give 0% financing. Then the floor guy (who is the negotiator for tough clients, I supppose) was brought in. I was essentially forced to call the other dealership to verify the offer and was then told why the offer would not hold by the time I went there, with the end result that I got $675 off the MSRP price. But this came with the cost of having a 1.9% loan instead of 0% financing. Compared to the original purchase price with 0% financing I will only save ~$600 if I pay down the loan in full after the four months that I was asked to keep it, so that the dealership gets there money from the bank.
I guess, the negotiating experience may reflect a bit the tight market for Jetta wagons, but I know that the higher end wagons are not flying of the lots neither. Anyway, I will be very happy with the car, but the negotiation experience left a bit of a bad aftertaste with me.

The dealer came up with a great price. They were very responsive to my internet-based inquiry, getting back to me literally within minutes. There was no messing around with misleading information or ploys to get me into the dealership. They were straightforward and professional.

The gentlemen I dealt with seemed as if they were truly interested in me as a buyer/ customer and that they wanted the car buying experience to be a pleasurable one. This is my first experience with Atamian and I would highly recommend the dealership to others . John and Bill were both very good to work with and did not apply pressure to purchase ,as other dealers I have dealt with have done.
