Bought a new Passat at this dealership and had a great overall experience. Darryll was helpful, accommodating, and knowledgeable. We didn't feel pressured during the sales process and didn't leave feeling as if we'd been taken for a ride, like at so many other dealers.

My Review of Atamian Volkswagen:
I bought a new 2012 Passat SEL Premium. Cee was the salesperson who worked with us from Atamian and sold me this vehicle.

Cee was outstanding. I looked at the same vehicle two days before at another dealership, but decided to buy it at Atamian because of Cee.

Cee is open and honest - easy to trust - which is an important factor when you are buying a new car. He also has genuine enthusiasm and passion for cars and driving. He explains features because they are fun and because he really beleives what he is saying. I really like Cee.

My Review of Atamian Volkswagen:
The problem with my car is potentialy life threatening, and they will do nothing about it!!!

They did nothing but lie to me and charge me for things that were not done, never returned phone calls and I had to hound them to find out what was going on with my car, made up problems that even other members of their service department agreed with me made no sense at all. They charged me $350 for diagnostics ONLY in addition to not covering the rental car which they had told me they would cover (I wouldn't have gotten a rental if I had known they weren't going to cover it). They have done nothing but lie to me, and they refuse to give me the code that initially came up on the car (which their service tech told me there was a code) and now say they have no record of it. When I bought the car there a month ago they were a bit sketchy then, adding charges on top of the price I was initially quoted as being the final cost and flat out lying to me regarding the new law that allows you to work on your own car with proper documentation and how that can't void a warrentee, they told me this would void the warrentee.

Please whatever you do, do not bring your car to Atamian, and I would not reccommend purchasing your car from them either. They have been very uncooperative, and won't answer any of my questions, and just keep lying to me, and made up crazy charges for doing absolutly nothing.

I currently have a claim with both VW of America and the Better Business Bureau against them.

I knew what car I wanted--went to Consumerreports to get their price. Atamian was ~$1000 less expensive than the other dealers in the area. They did not have the exact car that I wanted, but they located one and I picked it up 4 days later. Other than the business manger trying to sell me stuff, like Lojack, paint sealant, ect., it was a good experience. Cee, the salesman, was very good--very personable, and followed up the sale with a phone call--I believe he actually spent his day off picking up the car.

My Review of Atamian Volkswagen:
I came in to Atamian after finding a GTI that I wanted through Truecar.com. While I was disappointed to learn that they did not have the 4 door that I wanted, there did have two-door with the same options. Darith offered to pull it around for a look to see if I would be interested and I agreed. All the while Darith was friendly, professional, and straight-forward in his answers to my all of my questions.

After a short test drive I was happy with the model that they had and we began to work out the trade value of my car. Darith presented me with an offer along with a price for the GTI. After some negotiating I met with Jerry, Darith's manager, and we discussed the deal further. At no point was I pressured. The only thing Darith asked me was "if I fulfill your terms an conditions, can we make a sale today?", I said yes. I gave my terms, Jerry and Darith worked with me to meet them, and sure enough - I have a new 2011 GTI.

Pick-up the next day was simple, quick, and easy. I'm thrilled with my new car and would gladly recommend Atamian to anyone looking for a no-hassle, low-pressure car buying experience.

My Review of Atamian Volkswagen:
I ended up buying at Atamian after getting quoted prices via Zag.com. Atamian had the lowest quoted price and was located near my house and commuting route. I ended up having to order the car I wanted, which entailed a looong wait (96 days!), but I believe most of that was due to VW's production schedule rather than any shortcoming on Atamian's part.

Jimmie updated me frequently on the status of my order and once the car hit port had it to the dealership quickly. The title, unfortunately, did not arrive for another week. I actually bought the car when it arrived but wasn't able to take delivery while waiting for the title, so paid for 1 week of ownership without use of the car. The dealer should not have done delivery until the car could actually be titled.

I initially hoped to trade in my previous car but was offered an extremely low figure...less than 1/2 blue book on trade value. The amount was actually insulting, though they didn't push me to take it. I ended up selling the car privately within 2 weeks for more than 3x what they offered, so in the end that worked out.

My only other complaint would be with the financing process. I had a very good rate available to me via a credit union, and initially the finance person at Atamian wasn't coming that close to it. After telling him we'd leave his offer, he found a better one, eventually finding one close enough to what I had for me to take. I was left with the impression that he would only have offered the better rate when pushed...so buyer beware, they look to make money on financing just as with the purchase price, trade in, etc.

All things considered I would probably buy from Atamian again. They're no worse than a lot of other dealers and better than most.
