I have used this dealer exclusively since 2005 when my Audi A4 3.0 Cabriolet has been in need of service. Whether it was for scheduled service intervals or crazy mechanical failure when a field mouse bent up belt tensioners and caused the belt to need replaced Mr. Fischer and the team of mechanics at Crown saw that the car was promptly attended to; resolved the problem; advised of any issues that may be in the future; provided courtesy cars or very good rates with a rental agency, (but mostly courtesy cars). A number of issues that had borderline warranty aspects were given good grace periods to accommodate Mr. Fisher's attitude of get the customer back in his vehicle and have it done right and complete. Failure or return to dealer to correct issues has been once out of over 24 visits and it was a minor item, but one that had to be addressed. Cost wise, sure it is dealer service pricing; but frankly for the view of the whole picture of courtesy car, prompt service, a few no charge but appreciated gestures like wash and vacuum the vehicle; replace light bulbs at no charge for safety sake, and always a call to see if all was OK after the service; value/price was great and I have no complaints. I would recommend them for service; Mr. Fischer has a co-worker Evan; he is just as responsive and cooperative in getting the service and the work done. So either person is just as qualified. They are upfront and honest, keeping you well informed of what is going on with the purchase or service of your car. These guys are timely and get the job done. I have purchased 2 Audi A4's in the past 3 years from Crown Audi. The professionalism, efficiency and friendliness of the staff from Sales to Service are exceptional. With particular regards to the Service dept (Brian and Evan) - my experiences have been extraordinarily positive. Both of these gentlemen go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. I can't think of a single vehicle service appt. where I left the premises dissatisfied in any way. The bottom line - I would absolutely recommend Crown Audi to anyone in the market for these high end vehicles as well as the requisite post purchase vehicle service needs. More
What a great car buying experience! After attempting to buy an Audi Q5 in sarasota, FL at Suncoast Audi and realizing they didn't want to sell anyone a car, I went up to Crown Audi in Clearwater on a frien buy an Audi Q5 in sarasota, FL at Suncoast Audi and realizing they didn't want to sell anyone a car, I went up to Crown Audi in Clearwater on a friends recommendation. Bob Kimbal was our sales rep and I drove the Q5 home that night. He was honest and to the point. None of the games others try to play and it was much appreciated. I'm a fan and will pass this info onto others. As an example I ordered a hitch to attached and had to take the Q5 back up for this. Bob offered to have someone drive it back down to sarasota and exchange it for the loner car. That's how you make a fan! Give these guys a chance, you won't be disappointed. thanks Bob More
The staff was friendly, but threw me all the standard lines in the car salesman book while I was there. i.e. a lot of our customers have been paying MSRP for this car, it's just that hot right now!.... It makes me sick when I hear that line in particular. No one in their right mind would ever pay MSRP for any mass produced car. Continuing on... I was able to test drive the vehicle I was interested in with no problems. On my second visit, I came with the lowest quote I could find on USAA buyers program, which was from Audi of Jacksonville. Crown Audi said they would "price match" their quote. Let me define what they meant by price match... All Audi dealers charge a service fee. Crown Audi wanted to add another service fee ($700) onto the quote I recieved from Audi of Jacksonville who already included the service fee into the quote I had. To make it worse, they offered me $4,000 dollars under what my trade in was worth. They did not budge on their offer, so I left. A day later, I drove up to Audi of Jacksonville who honored their quote and gave me what I wanted for my trade in. I would have originally gone with Audi of Jacksonville, but it was an extra three hour drive for me. Bottom line: If you are looking for a good deal on an Audi in the Tampa Bay area, go ahead an drive 3 hours North East..... More
