I get a call from my daughter, she has a flat tire. No biggie, she pulls into St. Clair Mall to change it. A short moment later she realizes she's missing a part she needs. So, I call Mark hoping he'd a biggie, she pulls into St. Clair Mall to change it. A short moment later she realizes she's missing a part she needs. So, I call Mark hoping he'd at least be able to walk me through what was needed. After about 2 minutes on the phone he goes, "You know what, I'm just going to head over and see for myself." Within 25 minutes of my initial call to him my daughter's spare was on and she was safely back on the road. ***HE LEFT DURING SALES HOURS FOLKS!! We all know working in sales goes, you got to be there to make a sale, let's be honest! But he was willing to possibly lose a new sale to help out an old sale.. 😊 Meant the world to me and my daughter! Thank you Mark for always being there, no matter while buying, leasing or after the sale!! You've always made me feel like all questions I asked were important (and let's be real, some were, well.. NOT) 🤣 The process of buying multiple vehicle's with Auffenberg has been truly memorable! They take care of you not only during, but after the sale as well. Please go check Mark and his staff at Auffenberg Kia! More

When we arrived, we were greeted by Ed Moore who was happy to work with us but informed us that the car she had inquired about was traded to another dealership for a different color car for another customer on Saturday, but he was willing to search other dealers for the car she wanted. After a little bit of time Ed Moore located the car at a dealership in Chicago, and informed us that it would be delivered to the dealer by Friday, 24 July. After the usual credit checks, settling on a finance rate and a $14K down payment, we were sent over to the finance office where my daughter completed and signed all the sales, finance and plating documents for the car. Now fast forward to Friday 24 July, the day the car was suppose to arrive at the dealer, when Ed Moore sent my daughter a text message in the morning stating that the dealer in Chicago decided to sell the car on Thursday to a customer in the local area and that now they are trying to find another car like the one she wanted. After my daughter received the text she called me up upset and informed me what was going on. I then called the dealership and asked for Ed Moore and was told he was not in, so I asked to be connected to the general manager and I was transferred to his voice mail where I left a message that was never returned at all. After about 30 minutes of no response I called the dealership back asking for Ed Moore again, who was not in, then asking for the general manager again but was transferred to the sales manager who answered the phone. I informed the sales manager of why I was calling, and he informed me that he was aware of the situation and that they are trying to locate another car. I asked him how the car could be sold out from under my daughter after she had completed the paperwork/contract and he responded by saying “that the sale of the car was not final until the car arrived at the car lot and then the sale would be final/contingent.” I asked him to please tell me where in the paperwork/contract that my daughter had signed did it state the sale wasn’t final. He informed me that the salesperson told us of this and that’s how it always is when you get a car shipped in from another dealer. I told the sales manager that no such statement was ever said to myself or my daughter and if that was the case then why even complete any paperwork until the car actually shows up on the lot. He stated that he wasn’t going to get into any he said he said game with what Ed Moore said or didn’t say. I then said you’re basically telling me that the dealership illegally sold my daughter a car that wasn’t even theirs to sell? The sales manager wouldn’t answer, but quickly said that the Ed Moore just walked in and he would transfer me to him. When I talked to Ed Moore he stated that what had happened was out of their control because the Chicago dealership general manager decided to override our purchase and sell to a local customer. I asked how could that be seeing how we have a sales contract for the car, that was was legally ours by the paperwork my daughter signed through Auffenberg? All he could say was that they found another car in Oklahoma and that they were sending their driver to pick it up and my daughter would have the car Saturday. Saturday morning my daughter gets a text from the salesperson with a picture saying that the other car is on the lot. My daughter responded that she will be there at 1:00. When we arrived at the dealership we walked in, and Ed Moore saw us and said he was with another customer but would be with us shortly. After about 15 minutes of waiting he came back out with the keys and said he had to take the car to get it cleaned/detailed and gassed up. Really? You knew we would be here at 1:00 and you didn’t have it done and ready to go for us when we arrived? So we waited another hour for all that to be done then Ed Moore came and took us to the car to look it over. After we did that we went back to the finance office to redo all the paperwork again. I can honestly say that this was the fourth car we bought from Auffenberg Dealer Group, and this by far was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered in purchasing a car. I still question the legality of the first car’s signed contract with a $14k down payment and how that was not legally binding? How does a dealership sell an individual a car that didn’t even belong to them? The day we arrived to pick up the second car that was offered to us at no time did anyone in the sales department ever apologized for the way this transaction went down. Also, the salesperson never went over any of the features of the car or even showed her around the KIA dealership to show where the service department was located at. His only intention was to avoid us at all cost, give us the keys, and send us on our way. More

I'd been waiting for the car to become available locally ever since it was announced. Auffenberg quickly contacted me several times through by telephone and email after my initial inquiry. They invited me to come for a test drive. When my wife and I arrived for our appointment We walked in and the sales manager never spoke to us but automatically decided we couldnt afford the car and told the salesmman that we needed to prove we were ready to purchase the car that day or we couldnt test drive it. We immediately walked out with our check still in our pocket. I've bought two new cars from Auffenberg in recent years...never again. More

Many Kia repairs take specialized tools that I dinner have at home but I've never felt taken advantage of. Ali the work is explained and anything I can do myself they're happy to give me a pointer or two to make sure it gets done right. they even price match local tire stores and the have the TPMS sensors on hand (I've had two go out since I've owned the car). Plus my car is washed every time before I get it back. No reason to go anywhere else. More

Overall the buying experience wasn't bad, but their customer service is horrible. We've had our BRAND NEW, 2016 Kia Sorrento for 8 months. I noticed that the tires were getting really loud and took it in for service. They told me that the tires were "chopped" very badly, and that's caused by not rotating the tires regularly or keeping the proper pressure in them. I told them I've rotated the tires twice already, with the first oil change and with the third, and i always keep the tires inflated to the proper pressure. It had to be an alignment issue and they just weren't going to do anything about it. They said since I was over 12,000 miles already (all highway miles) that there was nothing they could do about it because it's considered "normal wear and tear". They said to get an alignment, rotate the tires, and they'll smooth themselves out in time and it will be fine. I went to my regular mechanic, and he said not only was the alignment REALLY bad, but that it had to have been that way when I bought it for all of my tires to be so badly worn. He also said my tires are ruined. So basically I have a car that is only 8 months old that had a messed up alignment and I have to buy new tires. Their service department lies to you, and they don't stand behind their product. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! More
Fantastic Nate Drury, Fantastic new KIA What a great experience driving the short distance from St. Louis County to your beautiful dealership. Nate Drury went above and beyond ANY salesperson here in St. Louis. My son made the contact over the Internet and Nate provided everything John asked of him. Our experience with 5-6 dealerships in St. Louis county left us very Leary of driving to your dealership. I have never experienced anything quite like the Kia dealership. Customers have to witness how nice and easy it is to but a car from you. Thank God for Nate! He had everything ready for us when we arrived. He showed us around, introduced us to the different departments. He spent time showing me the options how things worked. Full tank of gas to send us on our way. To sum it up, our connection with Nate and his wonderful personality closed the deal. Now, I just think of things I "need" to do just to drive this great Kia Sorento!!! Thank you Nate and Auffenberg Kia. My family and I will always make that trip across the river when we need a vehicle. You run a dealership the correct way, and you all made our day once we pulled onto your lot. Many, many thanks to the team and mostly to Nate. More
Awesome experience! Bob's approach to accommodating us was a new 2017 Kia Sportage LX AWD was impressive. I am in sales myself and I did not feel like I was being sold so Bob's approach to accommodating us was a new 2017 Kia Sportage LX AWD was impressive. I am in sales myself and I did not feel like I was being sold something. I felt like I was being helped by a friend get the best price for the best car that we wanted. The financing department got us twice as good of a rate as the first dealership we went to. We also liked the quote we got from Allstate and I think we will be changing to them because they saved us money. My wife has been with the company that she has been with since she was 16 and had no idea that we could save the money that we will by switching. Overall it was a great experience, they kept us where we wanted to be as far as our payment goes and got us in the car that my wife absolutely loves. Thanks again guys we will be back for the next car. More
