Owner takes advantage of consumers in need. Paul Lu, owner of Auto Barn Atlanta, needs to be put out of business. One of the cars he showed me was flooded, and he simply said, "Oh, I can fix tha Paul Lu, owner of Auto Barn Atlanta, needs to be put out of business. One of the cars he showed me was flooded, and he simply said, "Oh, I can fix that.". He should claim it as a flood damaged/total loss. How will he be able to get a clear title to give to the buyer? The car I picked out was incredibly over-priced, but I was desperate, as my car had just been repossessed. I couldn't get financing, or find anything decent for under $2000. This is the case with most people going to BHPH lots. I never received any financing paperwork, just Paul Lu's instructions to pay him $288/month for 20 months. That doesn't even add up to the total price! I hastily gave him a $1500 down payment and took home the 2006 Sebring for $6999. I thought about it, and decided to return the car 2 days later. He told me to see how things work out, and to come see him Oct. 6th, when he returns from vacation. I didn't like that arrangement, and wanted to get out of the deal ASAP. I returned, now 4 days after purchase, and Paul Lu would take the car back and cancel the "financing", but he would not return the $1500 down payment. He said he didn't have to. He even threatened to call the police! I questioned his reasoning for not returning the down payment. His reply was that he would "...call a couple officers to explain it to me.". He offered $500, and I took it. I didn't want to get arrested. People like Paul Lu should not have access to take advantage of people who are looking for help, with no place else to go. I've seen several negative reviews on other sites, including BBB.org and Ripoff Reports. Don't go to Auto Barn Atlanta. Save up and go somewhere else. Take Uber. That's what I'm doing, and it's much better than being scared to drive a car sold to you from Paul Lu. More
