My Review of Auto Wholesalers of Hooksett:
Many years ago in 1997 I went all the way up 1 hour to Auto Wholesalers as every Sunday Morning for at least a year before I watched his television ad from my livingroom chair religiously... I bought a car that was lined up to go on the next Sundays show, Thank goodnees I was there the Wednesday before to snatch it up. It was in excellent condition and priced at exactly what i could spend and afford. I met Mr. kelly from the television and was treated very well. I received the extended waranty and did end up using it for a head gasket and new tires as they were not passable at my inspection. My car was repaired properly and quickly and I never had another problem with it. I believe that Brian is still there in the service department and I think that anyone who has a problem or thinks they need help should see Mr.Kelly and talk reasonable and explain the issue to him. They want your business for life and everyone you send because they treat people right and put themselves in your shoes. I think the few bad reviews here really did not effectively handle there situations and expectations, they are quick to say bad but like i said let Mr Kelly now you need his help and watch what a fair man he is... Thanks for all you did for me, see I never forgot...

My Review of Auto Wholesalers of Hooksett:
Me and my husband set out on a Sunday afternoon in search of a Nissan Frontier. I had been looking for the PERFECT one in my budget for months. I figured i could only maybe get a 2004 with a little less than 100,000 miles on it in my price range after research. My husband works across from Auto Wholesalers of Hooksett so we thought we would start our search there. We drove to the back section where the trucks were and there it was, a beautiful 2006 Nissan Frontier, black, extended cab, six speed, all the things i had been looking for. Paul came out and introduced himself to my husband (of course were looking for trucks so it must be for the man) so i gently informed him the truck was for me. Paul asked if we would like to drive it and i figured just for fun lets take it for a ride. The sticker said 15995 which was way more than i wanted to spend. When we returned paul asked how we liked it and i said it was awesome and everything i wanted but i knew i couldnt afford it, told him all i could spend was 12000.00. Then he came back with, "Lets see what we can do" and i thought, no way, hes going to swindle me and push me into something too expensive and waste my time. But Paul did everthing he could to help me reach my price, talking to the manager, dealing with the bank, and trying to figure out alternatives for me. I have to say, i am one to HATE dealerships and sales people, they are rude obnoxious and pushy, i never found this to be true with Paul. My goal monthly payment was 220.00 and ill just say, i reached that, and picked up the truck on friday afternoon. I cannot say if Auto Wholesalers is a wonderful dealership and if you go in and speak to someone else maybe your experience will be different, but i would definately recommend Paul Doane as a car salesman and i will go back to him in the future.

My Review of Auto Wholesalers of Hooksett:
I went to autowholesalers after my husbands truck was sent back to his dealer due to an outragous carpayment. I knew that my credit wasnt great, but we just had a baby and we had to try to find a vehicle and fast. We looked at the website and found a truck at a ok price, so I applied online to see if I could get financed. The next day Ben the sales guy called me, he told me that my credit wasn't that great and asked if I could get a co-signer. I told him no, he abruptly told me that there was nothing he could do for me and hung up on me!! My thought was, was a jerk. Then about an hour later he called me back, said he spoke with someone and they said they could finance me and I would have to pay them directly, so I was thinking wow...great, finally a break. YEAH RIGHT!
So he informs me the truck we applied for is sold, and said they had a few other trucks, which were about $2000.00 more then what we were looking to spend, but beggers cant be choosy. So he said we would have to be there by three o'clock that day, and he had to know right there and then so he could have the truck in the shop for inspection, granted it was a friday and I didn't understand why they couldn't inspect it and we could pick it up on Sat. but, he was very firm it had to be that day. so I called my husband and told him that he had to leave work early to go get the truck. So we get there, with our 2 wk old son in tow. Ben greets us, gives my husband the keys to test drive and thats the last I see of him. My husband comes back, Ben appears asks him what he thinks, my husband tells him there are a few things that need to be fixed, (a knob for the radio, side mirrors didn't work, and the driver seat bracket is broke and the seat doesn't sit right.) So he says they will be fixed and then says go sit in the waiting room.
The waiting room was cold and drafty. For almost three hours I watched people walk by including Ben and NOONE ever told us what was going on with the paperwork or if the repairs were done....nothing! So FINALLY the paper work is brought out and we are told that we need to sign our lives away to what I will soon find out is a life sucker of a vehicle. I was told the seat bracket would be REPLACED, but it had to be ordered....but on my paperwork it was only written up as repaired. So we sign everything and go on our way. Exactly 7 days after our purchase I had to replace the univeral joint ($88.00), then two weeks later we have a transmission leak ($295.00) fix, then the ac dont work, the belt is broken and still in the engine...nice hazard for driving down the highway with ($20.00) then the ac has to be recharged ($99.00) fix. Now we are told the shocks and breaks are no good, and the tires are all different brands. And apparently autowholesalers wont fix any of it because I am a buy here pay here so I have no warranty!!!!
As if the costly repairs are not enough, we call them about the seat bracket, because noone called us and they say yeah come on this day, but it has to be by 1:00, so again my husband has to leave work early to have the bracket welded, even though it was done once before and didn't hold. So he gets home and tells me its still not right and a girl from financing calls me to tell me that I haven't made any payments and that I am weeks over due, even though my paperwork that they wrote up says my first payment wasn't due for another 2-3 weeks. I am more then pissed at this point, I start complaining about all the problems that we are having since only owning this vehicle for less then one month, I ask to speak to a manager. I leave a message and noone calls me back. So again I call two days later and I speak with Paul Miller, and he was very RUDE and basically said because I am doing a buy here pay here situtation that its not their problem. So I told him that I am driving with three children in the truck and if someone hits us or vise versa and the seat ejects the person driving, then we were going to have a serious problem. So he said to have my husband call and set up another time to again miss work and come in and they will fix it right. So again my husband misses work and goes in, sits there for a few hours and he is assured the seat is properly fixed....Well guess what..... Its broken AGAIN!!!!!
If you want a lemon and disrespect then go to autowholesalers!! I plan on forwarding a letter to the owner and to the better business bureau also. Maybe with a flame under their a** they will treat people with some respect and understand we are in tough times.

My Review of Auto Wholesalers of Hooksett:
i visited auto wholesalers right after a aweful experence at a another dealer, they wouldn't tell me the price, only payments. but only after they ran my credit to see if i was worthy of there time. i got very upset since so many dealers promise promise and promise and at the end you get nothing the salesman promised. i arrived at auto wholesalers and i was asked how much my budget was!! iwas stunned. i looked around and all the prices where right on the winshield, again another shock. i met paul miller he never asked my ss# only my budget and and what i needed out of my next car or truck. i told him, he showed me a few options but none where what i wanted 2006 ford with under 30k miles for around 20 thousand.. he took my name number we shook hands and i went to leave. i was thanked for coming in, then the manager bill stickney came over said hi, i thought here we go going to try to sell me something i don't want..he asked the colors i would not take..i told him i wanted blue but no white. he shook my hand and said paul would call me as so as he found one that passed there 56 point inspection...again i was very surprised over all this.. by the time i arrived home i had two messeges one from the other dealer. with a white 2006 ford with 35k miles for 24500 then i got a messege from paul. he found me a BLUE 2006 FORD FOR 19200.00 WITH 23K MILES. I called paul back i arrived about 2 hours later there was my truck and it even came with a 3year 100k mile warranty FOR NO COST TO ME!!!!!! i will never buy any where else. thank you auto wholesalers and paul was great. bill you did a great job finding my car....thank you again john mitchell

My Review of Auto Wholesalers of Hooksett:
Have had nothing but trouble since day one with the car. Had the car in twice for the same problem and was never fixed. Called up the service manager who stated they needed to look up my claim and said he would call me back later that day. Never recieved a call. Called back several times to fix the situation and was given attitude several times and was told I would get a call back and each time I never got a call back. Now the car does not run at all and I still owe tons of money on it. I strongly recommend that you do not use this dealership as they do not honor their promises.

My Review of Auto Wholesalers of Hooksett:
After picking up my new car, it broke down before I got home. When I called to let the salesman know he told me that everyone had left for the day and I'd have to call back in the morning and speak to the Service Manager, Brian. He said if I called by 8 they should be able to have someone out to Portsmouth to pick up my car by 10.

I called Brian at 8 and was told that he would send someone out to pick up my car, and to drop off my loaner in Dover, where I work. He said it should be sometime in the morning and I should be able to pick up my car that night.

As the day went on I kept calling Brian to check in to see where my loaner was. Each call was met with a tremendous attitude, and I kept being told that it would be "any time now." At one point he told me that I didn't have to keep calling, that they would call me when they were in the parking lot. I told him I just wanted to make sure I had the car before it was time for me to leave at 4:15.

I called once again at 4, when I still had no rental car and no way to get home. Brian told me that the rental had been dropped off a while ago and that he would try to reach the tow truck driver so that he could tell me where in the (extremely large) parking lot it was. At this time I mentioned his comment earlier about my car being ready that night. He assured me that that would no longer be possible because of how late it would be when my car got back to them (even though it was their own fault it was getting back so late).

About 15 minutes later (just at the time I had told him several hours before that I needed to be leaving work) I received a call from the tow truck driver who was sitting in the parking lot waiting for me. Brian had lied about the car being delivered earlier.

At this point I was so frustrated I called and asked to speak to Paul, the salesman I had worked with, but he had left for the day. I asked to speak to Bill, the manager, instead. I explained to Bill all of my frustrations of the day, and the fact that I could not make another 45 minute trip out to Hooksett, and asked if he could send someone out to Dover in my car, and we could then exchange it for the rental. I reminded him of how many times during the sales process they had touted their excellent customer service, and how all they cared about was making sure I would be satisfied. I was told that, while customer service was very important to them, none of my issues were their problem. I again said that I couldn't make the trip out to Hooksett again and was told, "If you want your car fixed you're going to have to."

Tomorrow is the day that I go to pick my car up, so we will see if anything good comes of this. Although I am not expecting anything. Overall I have to say, this has been the worst car buying experience I could ever imagine, and I would highly recommend that everyone STEER CLEAR of this dealer.
