On January 22nd I called your dealership to inquire about a used car you had that showed on carfax. My service rep Rosa told me, "you'll be receiving a survey, any question that is not positive will result in me getting in trouble and having to go to the principal’s office." I facilitate Gallup surv survey, any question that is not positive will result in me getting in trouble and having to go to the principal’s office." I facilitate Gallup surveys for a living and putting that type of pressure on customers only works to skew honest feedback. A better approach would be for the rep to ask, “did we meet all of your service expectations?” And if the answer is no, a good response would be, “We would love the opportunity to have a second chance to get it right, could you tell us where we missed the mark.” Telling me to give a good rating to avoid “ending up in the principles office” tells me there is no real concern for my level of service and only a self-concern. And yes, my service could have been better but she never thought to ask me. More
