Title: Disastrous Experience at AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Valencia Service Department I typically don't resort to leaving scathing reviews, but the abysmal service I've received at AutoNation Chr Jeep Ram Valencia Service Department I typically don't resort to leaving scathing reviews, but the abysmal service I've received at AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Valencia's Service Department leaves me no choice. It's imperative that others don't fall victim to the nightmare I've endured with this dealership. Approximately a year ago, I made the unfortunate decision to purchase a 2015 Jeep Wrangler from AutoNation, complete with all the warranties. Little did I know, I was acquiring a lemon in disguise. From the outset, the vehicle exhibited numerous issues, indicating a lack of thorough inspection of their trade-ins. Over the past year, I've had the misfortune of visiting their service department at least a dozen times. Initially, I flagged concerns about the engine running hot, a persistent ticking noise, and excessively loose steering. Despite multiple visits and attempts to address these issues, the staff at AutoNation consistently brushed off my concerns, attributing them to external factors like weather conditions or aftermarket modifications. After relentless persistence on my part, they begrudgingly acknowledged a busted engine, which required replacement. However, their incompetence didn't end there. The elusive ticking noise persisted, with their mechanics inexplicably unable to diagnose or rectify the problem. It wasn't until months later that they stumbled upon an aftermarket shaft yoke, which they claimed was the root cause. To my dismay, after waiting for months for the alleged replacement part, it turned out they never installed it at all, citing fitting issues. Despite this, they returned the Jeep to me, falsely asserting that the noise would cease. Predictably, the issues persisted, including unresolved suspension problems and a rear-end leak. A recent visit, spanning from January 29th to April 17th, 2024, epitomized the sheer incompetence and negligence of this dealership. Despite my insistence on addressing the persistent issues, including the unrelenting knock, loose steering, and suspension problems, they returned the vehicle to me in the same sorry state it arrived in. Their token gesture of a car detail was nothing short of laughable, merely comprising a lackluster car wash, coupled with the inexplicable act of misplacing and failing to return my belongings. It's apparent that their idea of 'service' is sorely lacking, as evidenced by the indifferent attitude of their service manager, who seems more preoccupied with personal distractions than attending to customers' needs. While some individuals, like Hugo, attempted to maintain communication, their efforts were ultimately futile in the face of systemic incompetence and apathy. It's evident that AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Valencia lacks effective leadership and competent mechanics, resulting in a revolving door of dissatisfied customers and unresolved issues. In conclusion, my Jeep still suffers from the same unresolved issues, compelling me to seek assistance elsewhere. I implore prospective customers to steer clear of this dealership and seek recommendations from reliable sources. Trusting AutoNation Valencia with your vehicle is a gamble you simply can't afford to take. More
I worked with Nathan in service. He was very professional and did what he said he was going to do. I would definitely refer my family and friends. He was very professional and did what he said he was going to do. I would definitely refer my family and friends. More
This rating is based primarily on the fact that on September 1st I booked an appointment for service that was not available until November 27th. I understand there is a shortage of automotive techs, but a 3 month wait for service is beyond comprehension. Luckily my issue was not an emergency so I could wait. On the morning of my appointment, I showed up on time and only 1 service writer was working so there was a wait. Even with an appointment, it took a full 5 days before my vehicle was even looked at for diagnosis. Once diagnosed they were able to complete the repair in 2 days. My service writer was perfectly fine and every day she sent a text to say my car was still in line to be looked at. What was the point of scheduling the appointment? On top of the repair, I spent $250+ on a car rental while waiting for a diagnosis for service that was scheduled. I'm not sure if this is the new normal, but this could've been a positive review. Previously came to have our truck serviced and had a horrible experience, but this experience was phenomenal. Nathaniel was our service rep and not only did he help us as walk-in customers for a nail in horrible experience, but this experience was phenomenal. Nathaniel was our service rep and not only did he help us as walk-in customers for a nail in a tire, but went the extra mile in ensuring that our truck was serviced with the other items it needed to have done, and had the truck ready by the end of the day. Will definitely bring my truck to have it serviced here again thanks to Nathaniel. More
If it hadn't been for my own double and triple checking of the numbers, I would have been overcharged close to $600. Furthermore, there seems to be an overall lack of communication between parts, service a of the numbers, I would have been overcharged close to $600. Furthermore, there seems to be an overall lack of communication between parts, service advisors and technicians. This also required my diligent involvement. I was given an estimate many months back, and for the same work, I was recently quoted an additional $400+. When I became upset by this and insisted something be done, my quote went back down to the original amount because "there was a miscommunication between parts and labor." I was also being double charged for my estimate fee, which was included initially, then included once again in my total. Again, this took my careful diligence and attention to detail to point out, otherwise the additional $240 would have been paid without a second glance. To top this all off, my car was essentially "lost" when it was time to leave. I waited at least 15 minutes for it to be found while technicians went back and forth searching for it. The positive I will include here is that the original time estimate for my vehicle was much longer than the actual time it took to get my car serviced. However, the reason I brought it in (a skipping in transmission) seems to be popping its head up again, so I will most likely have to return for the same reason. More
I would give zero stars if I could. The dealership dupes you into buying a vehicle that they will never properly service. You will run into full blown electrical and transmission proble The dealership dupes you into buying a vehicle that they will never properly service. You will run into full blown electrical and transmission problems (in under 10k miles no less!) and the service department just says they “could not duplicate the problem” and then send you on your way and won’t book you another appointment for months. PS. You betcha that I have videos and pictures of the car malfunctioning. But now I will have no choice but to get an attorney. You would think that if they couldn’t solve customer complaints or issues the dealership would at least feign kindness but no! You should hear the aggressive harassing and threatening voicemails I have received from the service manager! It’s appalling. I wish I never bought this car. More
