Overall I was satisfied with the service the mechanic performed, the technician took care of my truck really well, an hour is a bit long to wait for only an oil and oil filter change, but they were busy performed, the technician took care of my truck really well, an hour is a bit long to wait for only an oil and oil filter change, but they were busy so I understand, credit for them topping off my fluids and setting the air pressures in my tires as well, thank you Mr.Mechanic, you’re the reason I gave a 2 not a 1. But to what I was disappointed with; as someone who is freshly recovering from a motorcycle accident and having a hard time walking, I was disappointed in the non existent level of “hospitality”, nobody offered to hold open a door or pick up the bag I dropped, kinda annoying but whatever I get it, where I was really disappointed, is towards the end of my visit. I forgot to ask to have my ford pass points applied during check in, when I asked the young lady at the cashier desk to have them applied I was told to go see the advisor, when I asked the lady at the desk if she would be ok doing that for me, as I was having a hard time walking, I faintly heard a sigh and noticed an eye roll… that’s just not professional and very frustrating to me. I don’t think I was really asking for that much since, ya know, I can’t walk correctly, I didn’t think that was an unfair request, but it must’ve been. Even when I was leaving I opened my truck door and saw the seat cover, ID tag, and paper floor mat still in the truck, I noticed people watching me as I had to remove those items myself, hobble to a trash can to toss them, then hobble back to my truck, would it have killed you to do that before I even walked out? I’m not sure if I’ll be coming back here for future service or not, but I do know this, my wife is 9 out of 10 times correct when she recommends I do something, and when she said I should've drove the extra 20 minutes and visited the dealer she works at, I think I should’ve just listened and done just that, now I’ll never hear the end of it. The experience was great; however, I think that the process was too long. I wanted to send information ahead of time and then bring the same information in so that I would not have to have as long of process was too long. Terrible experience with both the Sales Department and with the Service Department. The salesman and service department managers do not return phone calls or respond to emails. Bought my car at another Ford dealership and used their service department once as I didn’t care for the attitude of intake personnel. Switch all my service to AutoNation and have had exemplary experience service department once as I didn’t care for the attitude of intake personnel. Switch all my service to AutoNation and have had exemplary experience and service from when I first walk in the door till I exit with my car which has always been fixed the first time. Can’t say enough good things about the people employed by AutoNation, Amherst, Oh. Only downfall was not having a rental car availability and I have the Premium warranty from Ford that I paid for in good faith that this warranty would be honored. More
