Beware, This dealership cares NOTHING about the customer and only blatant greed. After purchasing a Honda Accord, I returned to the dealer and spoke to General manager "Jack" and mentioned that I felt the and only blatant greed. After purchasing a Honda Accord, I returned to the dealer and spoke to General manager "Jack" and mentioned that I felt the overall car was good but it's a bit large for me, He then suggested that I downsize to a Civic. Then I went through a test drive and a lengthy explanation of how wonderful he was in doing me a huge favor, even suggesting that I should buy him a bottle of Scotch. Then I noticed that my original $ 8,000 down payment was gone and the total cost was actually &3,000 more than the Accord I already paid for. Needless to say, I didn't fall for it or buy him any scotch. More
Terrible experience with this dealer. They agreed to do a deal and I had offered to pay a deposit and they had stopped responding for 3 days. Then they reached back out saying they already sold the model and wanted me to pay for a higher trim at a higher price. Will make sure to never buy from this dealer in the future. Buying a car at AutoNation Honda Costa Mesa was such a refreshing experience! Our salesman, Dave Anderson, gave us the out-the-door price right away, which made choosing the right vehicle so much easier. He was honest, transparent, patient, and kind—truly making the process enjoyable. The finance manager (I wish I remembered his name!) was also fantastic, and I appreciated that no one was pushy at any point. I’m so glad we chose this dealership and highly recommend them if you’re in the market for a car. More
This is by far the worse Auto dealer. B.S. and they know it. An ext. # is required. Only service, SALES, collision answers the phone and "O" operator does not respond. When I went there in person and spoke to Jack who claims to be General manager/ Financial manager, he ACTED surprised that the phone number didn't work. Duh....that was 6 weeks ago and nothing has changed. Also the final contract that I received was inaccurate including my phone and email contact information. They also included a Honda care service that I DID NOT REQUEST billing me $1,630 When I told him that I noticed on their website the offer of Finance for 60 months with 0 interest. He told me that I did not qualify because I bought the car 2 weeks ago. I mention this to several other dealers and was told that he is either naive or dizzy or both, any GM can initiate whatever ever he wants to satisfy a valuable customer. Bottom line, AutoNation Honda Costa Mesa is something you might expect from a 3rd world country. Deception, lies and misleading information. More
