Road Trip interrupted, BMW of Catonsville saved the day I was travelling from Philly to DC on business. As I exited the Harbor Tunnel the carl indicated that it was too hot and I should "drive moderately". I was travelling from Philly to DC on business. As I exited the Harbor Tunnel the carl indicated that it was too hot and I should "drive moderately". I pulled over, located the nearest BMW dealer and proceeded to BMW of Catonsville and drove into the service bay. I was greeted promptly, explained the problem to the service writer, Keon, and the mechanic. they indicated that the car would need to cool down before they could diagnose and since it was late afternoon it would be the next day before they would be able to diagnose or repair. They asked if I could stay nearby, I explained that I needed to be in DC that evening and inquired about rental cars. Keon arranged a complimentary loaner from Enterprise and sent me on my way promising to keep me posted. I arrived in DC in time for my engagement … my delay was about 60 minutes from dash warning message to back on the road. Keon texted me the next morning to let me know they were working on it and then called with a diagnosis, estimate and promise to have the car ready in time for my return form DC. Meanwhile Enterprise called to make sure all was right with the loaner and to make sure my pickup experience was satisfactory. I returned to pickup the car on my way home and it was ready and waiting as promised, freshly washed. My off the road time to return the loaner and pickup my car was under 30m. All things considered this could not have gone any better. This was not my home dealer but a dealer who had never seen me before. They treated my like a valued customer and made sure that I was not stranded. All of this for a seven year old out of warranty car bought elsewhere. It was an awesome experience. He was straight forward and made sure I was only shown vehicles that fit what I was looking for with the help of Sam. Sam thoroughly explained every warranty , how to keep the vehicle well maintained, and even went over the average cost of maintenance year to year. Sam answered EVERY question I had. Next there was John who is a Bmw genius. They didn’t lie when they called him a genius. He went over every feature of my vehicle, paired all my devices, set all my favorite options, he did it all! Not to mention they all helped me transfer my things from my old car to my new car and this all happened during there normal hours but actually pushed two hours pass closing. No one rushed me or was anxious to get me out of the dealership. I actually had to tell them it’s ok I’ll come back to finish up on anything I missed out on later. They wanted to make sure I received the full experience and treatment and didn’t make me feel as I was an inconvenience because they had to stay late. If you want a dealership that will be honest and is looking out to make you smile and happy when you leave chose BMW of Catonsville. The first thing Sam said to me is “You’re not smiling and I just want to make sure I can provide you with everything you ask for so you can leave here smiling.” Well guess what ? Mission accomplished because I’m one happy customer and I left with the largest grin on my face More
