Not happy at the unexpected and extremely high cost of repairs. I took my vehicle in and was told that the diagnostic fee was $299 due to a coolant leak that was noted. I left my car with them and was texted an updated work order for me to approve. Unfortunately, my fault, I didn't look over their updated estimate thoroughly as I was working. When I came to pick up my vehicle, I was shocked at the cost. Other professional mechanics whom I have gone to in the past always called me especially when the cost was higher than they said initially to give me options and explain exactly what I am buying. I will be going elsewhere for my vehicle service in the future as I feel the costs at BMW Monterey are excessive. On the plus side, the service advisor, Brian, was very nice and my car has been repaired. Just a cautionary tale to carefully read any texts sent to you and don't make any assumptions. More

Brian Mckeon was fabulous. No one seemed to care that i was standing around trying to get someone to take my car in as scheduled. But Brian came to the rescue while others were talking and sitting around. Not the old "can do" service i remember from years ago.
