My deal was pretty straight forward from my perspective. I told him I wanted X% or more off, and that was my main requirement. He promised me he would do an "amazing" deal.. then offered me X-2% off plus ha I told him I wanted X% or more off, and that was my main requirement. He promised me he would do an "amazing" deal.. then offered me X-2% off plus having to pay various junk addons. I stuck to my guns and he eventually made it X% off plus discounted off the junk addons. I did confirm with him at this point that it was actually X% off, and that there were no other hidden markups (ie: MF) that would negate the discount. I basically told him that I was happy to just deal with a broker (several advertised this price) and move on, I was not going to do heavy negotiating. We came to a deal and scheduled with Arash to show up at 4pm(we got there around 4:10) to drop off my i7 I purchased from you for service, do a quick validation drive on the new iX, then sign and leave. It took 20 minutes to even drop off the car, as the service department had no idea that I was coming, he had not properly created an appointment for them or anything. Once we got to him, he made us detour while he dropped food off in his car. From there we went to the iX and he couldn't find the keys for it. It ended up taking him 10 minutes of us standing there to find the keys. We did our test drive, which lasted under 5 minutes, as we were satisfied with it. From there we went upstairs with him (it was about 4:40 by this point) and then proceeded to sit at his desk for 35 minutes while he did stuff that should have been done before we arrived and just kept vanishing for large chunks of time. At 5:15, when I was becoming visibly annoyed, he told me "Only 15 more minutes. Finance has it and will be over in 5 minutes". Finance didn't show up to us until about 6pm, an excess of 40 minutes later (Checking my email, I got the SPAM they signed me up for at 5:53pm for insurance). When I was clearly annoyed at the Finance manager, he told me he had literally just been handed the packet, which means that Arash lied to us yet again. Finally, when completing the paperwork, it turned out that Arash lied to us about there being no MF markup. When I got up to leave as a result, he was magically able to offset it to make it work (he kept the MF on but added an additional discount to the car to bring it to the% off I told him I expected). He gave me some fairly rude and sarcastic comments about this, but we were already 2.5 hours in and just wanted to get the xxxx out of there. Otherwise I would have asked to see the GM at that time. When driving home, it turned out that the team hadn't properly completed the preparation of the car, as they left a user account for a BMW employee at the dealership the car came from in the system. As a result, I didn't have a digital key working until I fixed it myself. Regardless, When he chatted with me the next day, I let him know that I was annoyed that the service center called and let me know my i7 was done, but they would not do valet service to drop it off at my home as he had promised me verbally. While telling him this, he told me "Over there is not the private shop for one Customer only" which is quite a rude statement to make. He followed that up by telling me that I should be grateful to him for even getting it in for service. I made it clear to him that I could have waited for the service and just taken it to Stevens Creek BMW where I usually go for service if it was an issue. I also expressed my frustration with it taking 2.5 hours the prior day, when it should be done in under 30 minutes (that is what Porsche did when we bought our Taycan, and what our Lucid and Tesla purchase experiences were) After some back and forth he sent this: "I’m just trying to be respectful to any customer but I’m not order taker from anybody and I don’t like being treated by the people like I am their private servant !!” Of note: they force protection packages on the deal, but the fine print on the packages says they can’t tie it to a deal.
