I went in for getting my SMOG check issue fixed. The dealership suggested a change in the OBD2 port housing and port replacement. They fixed the issue in a timely manner and also gave me a loaner in The dealership suggested a change in the OBD2 port housing and port replacement. They fixed the issue in a timely manner and also gave me a loaner in the meantime. Every aspect of the service experience was smooth except the pricing. I was charged $710 for an electrical port replacement. This charge is equivalent to two new tire replacement jobs. The pricing can be fairer is what I can say honestly about BMW if they are trying to improve their bad reputation for being called 'Stealerships'. More
This was an EGR recall repair, the dealership did not have the necessary parts available, therefore, it took a week to complete the repair.
