I am a long time BMW owner. I'm on my 6th BMW and have been in them since 2010. I've purchased direct from BMW NA and several different dealerships. I do not recommend this one. I'm on my 6th BMW and have been in them since 2010. I've purchased direct from BMW NA and several different dealerships. I do not recommend this one. BMW of Roseville had a CPO vehicle that I was interested in due to specific packages installed. I live 3.5 hours from the dealership, but was willing to make the drive and drop off my trade, at a serious discount, because the CPO car was exactly what I wanted. I agreed with the sales rep that I would finance the vehicle using BMW Financial due to BMW incentives. But I was sent electronic pre-approval and credit application for "Auto Nation". First sign of trouble. I asked if this was for BMW Financial and was assured it was. So I filled it out and was given term options but they did not include the rate incentive from BMW Financial. I requested that be fixed. I then noticed that it was missing the cash incentives from BMW Financial, ($1,000) which I had to request be added on. Further down the form the value of my trade-in was reduced by $1,000. Coincidence? Second sign of trouble. So all electronic forms filled out and pre-approved now I am assured it should be an easy quick transaction when we arrive and the car would get a "full tank of gas and washed". As if that isn't standard practice... We arrive right at our appointment time, 10:30am. Our sales rep is not there. Someone senior in the dealership explains where our sales rep is and is all smiles and offers coffee and donuts. Thanks but Tony's used cars and payday loans down the street does that too... I came 3.5 hours to conduct business and buy a BMW. So we wait 20min for him to return. Third sign of trouble, and now I know this isn't going to be smooth. Our sales rep returns and takes us to the car to look over and test drive. Good news: the car was exactly as described both physical appearance and from the test drive.. Confidence going up. But then I'm told one of the key FOBs was "lost" and will need to be mailed to me (but they had the mechanical key for the lost fob still), so I have 1.5 keys now, and there's a FOB for my car out there somewhere.. Time to sign and take the 1.5 keys right? No, it's time to reapply. Now we fill out an actual BMW Financial application this time, but on paper. Then I have to verify my military status still. (Why didn't we do that before?) Paperwork gets turned over to the finance guy. This is where it became apparent to me what was happening. We go into his office and he says the BMW system isn't working so we can't sign on the iPad he'll have to print the whole thing and sign on paper. What was wrong with the paper copy we just signed if it's a paper placeholder?? Then he proceeds to show us all these packages for maintenance, protections and coverages. He downplays what the CPO warranty covers and upsells all these outside plans to us. Time share presentation. That's what was happening. As soon as I said I didn't want it, I just want the car. The smiles and small talk went away, the temp plate printed, and the rep was brought back to give us the 1.5 key(s). It took 2 hours to get to that point. Once they realized I didn't want any of the stuff they were selling it took 5min to finish the DMV and give us the key(s). A waste of my time. We drove 3.5 hours to pickup a BMW CPO car, using BMW Financial and "Auto Nation" dealership jumped in trying to sell stuff. What should've been a test drive, DMV registration and drive off, turned into a 2hr long event culminating in a pitch to buy unnecessary warranties and services. Now I have the vehicle waiting on BMW Financial and my FOB. Why? We never actually did anything with BMW Financial until the end. A smooth process was set aside so they could sell me stuff. Smiles, niceness, coffee, donuts, a tank of gas, a clean car are not what makes a good dealership. A quick, organized sale that emphasizes getting the customer into the car, is. That didn't happen. A timeshare presentation experience is what we had. More

The salesperson was easy to work with. The dealership does not have the fancy coffee shops that Reno has (I guess that is what the supplements pay for) but I don’t go there to eat! More
