I always have a great experience when using their service department, but was duped into buying an expensive extended warranty by an unscrupulous salesman. The 5 year warranty sounded like a good deal, espec department, but was duped into buying an expensive extended warranty by an unscrupulous salesman. The 5 year warranty sounded like a good deal, especially when the salesman confirmed it was valid for 5 years from my purchase of the used car and was not just an extension of the original BMW warranty from new to 5 years. I should have checked the small print, but my bad!. I later found it was only an extension of the original warranty and I'd essentislly paid $7,000 for a 10 month warranty. Lesson learned! Check the small print and never trust a car salesmen's word. More
