If you like to be lied to then Baierl automotive is your place to get a vehicle. Salesman John "JJ" Joseph will argue with you about the value of your trade in, then lie by telling you its going to be sold place to get a vehicle. Then they turn around and list the car for sale on their lot 2 days later. I realize they have to make a profit but not by lying to their customers. I accepted $8000 for my trade in which was a 2017 Subaru legacy and its currently listed on their website for $13,259. My trade in vin # is 4s3bnac60h3006536 so beware Baierl Honda only paid $8000 for that car. Besides brakes, tires, and detailing the car was in very good condition and regularly serviced. That car was "supposedly going to auction" and was told his boss would get upset if we would continue to negotiate. Don't trust a word "JJ' says or his boss who seemingly has no patience or customer skills because "he" could not come out and talk to me in person!!!!! More

My son was recently in an accident totaling the exact same car so I was thrilled to have found another one. I made sure to ask if the car was still available as I would be driving an hr one way to test drive. They assured the car was still in their inventory and I had a 630 test drive appt. I show up only to be greeted by someone named Greg Jancosco who had an attitude from the moment I walked in. He seemed bothered and annoyed that I had done an online inquiry as he stated that they assign a sales rep and I was assigned to George who was currently with another customer. I asked if I could have the keys to go look at the car. Greg then said "I really don't want involved in any of this as its not my sale." I was dumfounded to say the least that anyone in any kind of customer service position would speak that way to a customer as they are a direct representation of the company. My brother then asked again if he could please go ask George if we could take a look at the car while he was finishing his sale. Greg walked over to George and spoke for a few minutes, then returned and said, "the car was sold a half hr ago and started to walk away." I asked how this could have happened when I drove an hr to test drive the car that they said was still available, he then said "you know what I already have been having a bad day and I don't need to listen to any of this and walked away. Never in my 52 years of life have I ever been spoken to like this from anyone much less a car salesman at a dealership. I would not return there if they were giving a car away. Do your homework, there are good company's out there but unfortunately this is not one. More

I was extremely pleased with my service for my Honda CRV. The computer said I needed a transmission fluid change, but they called me and said it had been done recently enough and I didn't need it. I brought my 2018 Honda Civic into Baierl Honda on Saturday, October 28, 2023 specifically for an oil change and an alignment. My appointment was at 9:30am and the service advisor was John Kurta. I waited at the dealership and then met my brother at another dealership while I was waiting. At 11:34am, I received a call from John Kurta stating that my car was ready. When I got to the dealership, I found out that they also performed the following WITHOUT ASKING FOR MY CONSENT: • A Transmission Fluid Flush • A Brake Fluid Flush • An Air and Pollen Filter Replacement Instead of paying the $159 (plus tax) for the alignment (I paid for free oil changes when I bought the car), I paid a total of $664.34. Other items of note included • After the alignment, I still had to keep the steering wheel turned a little to the right to drive straight; and • My tire tread went from 5 32nds to 7 32nds between my last visit (December 28, 2022) and this current visit (October 28, 2023). I did not get new tires. Then, I tried following up with Baierl Honda to see if they could explain why the all the extra work was done to my car without asking and nobody followed-up with me (and I followed-up multiple times). Please see below for a timeline of my follow-up attempts: • Sunday, October 29, 2023 – Responded to a text message survey about my horrible experience. I never received any kind of response. • Saturday, November 11, 2023 – Went to the dealership and spoke with a Sales Manager about my experience. He agreed that somebody should have notified me that my car needed all the extra work instead of just doing it and assuming I could pay for it. He said that somebody would reach out to me on Monday, November 13th. • Monday, November 13th, 2023 – Nobody called me. • Tuesday, November 14th, 2023 – Nobody called me. I drove the dealership after work that evening and spoke to a manager again who said that somebody would be contact me on Wednesday. • Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 – Nobody called me. I called the cell phone of the Sales Manager I spoke to on Saturday, November 11th (who was not working that day), but said that he would talk to the Service Manager and that I should hear back on Thursday. • Thursday, November 16th, 2023 – Nobody called me. • Friday, November 17th, 2023 – Nobody called me. In conclusion, I had a horrible service experience and when I brought it up to management, they never followed-up with me, even when I followed-up with them repeatedly. I would not recommend John Kurta as a Service Advisor and management needs to take better responsibility for following-up on customer complaints and addressing them. More
