He wrote in paperwork after I received the vehicle back that I have a tune and that I will return to the aftermarket tuner to address issue, then tried to charge me a diagnostic fee. My car has never been tuned. Advisor also told me my warranty is voided, then evaded the question when I actually arrived at the dealership. More

I called trying to make an appointment again and was told they don't make appointments for inspections. I showed up the following week and they said I needed an appointmeny but would squeeze me in right after noon (I arrived at 9:30). I thought that was fine until the assistant service manager realized it was an alternate inspection (which I told him from the start). He still did not know what the alternate inspection was and said he had to call someone. They then said they wouldn't be able to do it that day because it will take too long to hear from the Safety and Emissions department. I decided to call on my own and was on the line with a representative in less than two minutes. He called Volkswagen and explained the situation at which point they said they couldn't do it till mid next week. It's clear to me that they should not be an inspection station if they are not even familiar with what needs to be done. They were rude and tried to get me to go elsewhere because of their lack of knowledge. More
I take my car their for every schedule service, most of the times I do the appointment online (which is very user friendly) - prices are fair and people are very friendly. I stopped in without an appointment because the display on my Passat said I needed AdBlue (I have a TDI). It was just before 7pm and found that even though service was about to close, they were able to fil on my Passat said I needed AdBlue (I have a TDI). It was just before 7pm and found that even though service was about to close, they were able to fill my fluid that I needed and scheduled my next appointment (I was overdue- why my AdBlue light was on). They offered me a free loaner car too when I'm coming in which helps as I drive a TON and don't have a lot of time to spend waiting for my car. Very professional, I totally recommend. By the way.. They didn't charge me for the fluid add!! More
I bought my car (2011 Jetta SE) EXACTLY ONE MONTH AGO. Two weeks ago we got a light snow early morning, and I was on my way to work. I went to get into the car and the DOORS WERE FROZEN SHUT. Finally, after pulling on the door enough times it popped open...it was frozen. I started the car immediately and set everything onto defrost. I tried to roll down my automatic windows to get the dusting of snow off and that WAS FROZEN TOO. It took almost twenty minutes for the windshield and rear window to defrost....TWENTY MINUTES FOR A DUSTING OF SNOW. I got onto the road, as I hit the highway I realized my drivers side mirror was STILL COVERED IN ICE!! I COULDN'T SEE A THING. I GLANCED AT MY PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR AND THAT WAS DEFROSTED PERFECTLY. After I pulled over to my destination I called the salesman I had been dealing with since I bought the car and told him what happened. He immediately suggested I make an appointment with service. I'm an Emergency Room Nurse, I work 50+ hours a week and I'm going to school for a masters degree, I made the appointment that Friday but missed and went in today. Here's the kicker, I bought the car "VW CERTIFIED", according to my paperwork EVERYTHING WAS IN PROPER WORKING ORDER WHEN I BOUGHT THAT VEHICLE 30DAYS AGO. I went into service and I was asked to sign paperwork that I was responsible for a "DEDUCTIBLE". This car was sold to me with the drivers mirror defroster NOT WORKING, I asked to speak to the sales manager. I had the displeasure of meeting GREGG FLORIO, SALES MANAGER, he was arrogant, unprofessional and belligerent. I explained to him that I had literally driven the car off the lot, 30days ago. That there was no way I could have known about the problem if it didn't snow, and thank god it did within 30days, and not next winter. But as soon as I discovered the problem, I reported the problem; and that there is no way I could have caused the problem through "WEAR AND TEAR" because it's an electrical problem. This was a PREEXISTING CONDITION THAT WAS NOT DISCLOSED PRIOR TO MY PURCHASE, AND INDEED THIS VEHICLE SUPPOSEDLY PASSED A 150pt inspection!! The man who created the checklist even checked off that my 'NAVIGATION' WAS WORKING PROPERLY.......THIS CAR DOESN'T HAVE NAVIGATION!!!!! THAT GOES TO SHOW WHAT A THOROUGH JOB THEY DID. This man had the audacity to even argue about how many times it had snowed within the month and whether or not I knew about the problem earlier. I literally feel sick to my stomach that they have $15,000 of my hard earned money and are basically kicking me to the curb. They are selling bogus "Certifications" and it's against the law, and so help me I will make sure that the proper authorities are made aware of this scam they are running. I am calling every Consumer Affair Agencies, as well as the Attorney General, the BBB and whoever else may be able to help me with this un-reputable dealership. It's just NOT RIGHT. IT'S BAD BUSINESS, AND IT'S A SHAME. Just one last note, a dealership with nothing but 4 and 5 stars should be a RED FLAG TO ANYONE OUT THERE ANYWAY. More
Got 4 new tires. Had difficulty with one of them and the service team went out of their way to make sure it was fixed. From the moment I pulled in the service center I felt welcome and important. My husband and I bought a 2013 Passat in November and were told by the salesman ( Yaris Martinez) and Financial officer ( Justin Fortner) that the " platinum plan" we purchased to service the vehicle wou were told by the salesman ( Yaris Martinez) and Financial officer ( Justin Fortner) that the " platinum plan" we purchased to service the vehicle would include free oil changes at 5,000 miles, 10,000 , 15,000 miles etc. When I called to schedule the appointment for the oil change at 5,000 miles the service technician " Stephanie" was fresh and abrupt with me on the phone, saying that can't be true because the new vehicles ( diesels) have a recommended oil change at 10,000 NOT 5,000. When I arrived for the appointment she said " I don't know why they are telling customer's that, it's not true." Two phone calls to Mr. Fortner for clarification have been unanswered. No courtesy. Subsequently, I made an appointment last week because the " blue tooth" was defective. They called me Tuesday 3/19/13 to tell me the part was in and wanted me to schedule an appointment with the service department. I was left on the phone, listening to music for so long I had to hang up and call back at another time. I will not recommend this dealership to family, friends or anyone. I received a letter from Balise VW with a few specials for their service department. What a pleasant surprise when I arrived! I usually brought my Passat to another dealer, but I was disappointed with my for their service department. What a pleasant surprise when I arrived! I usually brought my Passat to another dealer, but I was disappointed with my last couple of services; they really weren't listening to what I was telling them and weren't considerate of my time. I don't know how they knew I was due for service, but I made an appointment when I got the coupons. Bill (who is the service manager) greeted me by my name when I drove in, took note of my concerns and my car was in and out of the shop while I waited a very reasonable amount of time!! Very happy I tried Balise and definitely will be back! Thanks Bill!!! More
Upon bringing my relatively new Tig in for it's first service, I had the extreme fortune of working with Ann. She remembered me from when I purchased the car and greeted me warmly. She was more than ha service, I had the extreme fortune of working with Ann. She remembered me from when I purchased the car and greeted me warmly. She was more than happy to listen to my concerns of a small scratch and willing to talk with the service providers in the back to see if they could take care of small mark. After the service had been performed on my vehicle, Ann walked me out to my car and noted that it's lack-luster appearance. Even though Balise's wash is complimentary, she wasn't happy with how it looked. Nor was she happy that my small scratch hadn't been taken care of. She apologized and took the car back in to be properly cleaned. While I understand how workloads can become overwhelming and small details can be overlooked, I greatly appreciate the attention Ann and the service guys gave to me. To further add to Ann's heart-warming service, she walked me out to my Tig a second time to make sure that all the details were taken care of. Unfortunately she gave me the bad news that something had stained the hood of my car. We both agreed that this should never have happened, so Ann told me she would investigate my options. Before I even got home, Ann had called to inform me that they would be able and willing to repaint the hood of the car. Through several days of communication, I was always impressed with Ann's timely responsiveness, many time within the half hour of my own call. Her attention to my needs truly solidified the family-like feelings that I have already developed towards Balise. Once we had determined the day to start my bodywork, Balise offered a complimentary vehicle, which was even prepared for me before I arrived (this was great forethought, as it cut down my wait time!) Within a few days, I had my Tig back, looking just as beautiful as the day I bought it! A huge thank you to Ann for taking care of my vehicle and making me feel welcome at Balise. More
I recently brought my vehicle in for service and they exceeded my expectations. I needed a part that was not available at the dealership and the parts manager arranged to have it picked up at another dea exceeded my expectations.
