Service department is non responsive. I've had several service appointments and never had service actually done on the day I scheduled it. Just too busy, the department is non responsive. I've had several service appointments and never had service actually done on the day I scheduled it. Just too busy, they couldn't get to it. Not to mention they did not do the service that was asked for until I reminded them they were looking at the wrong thing. Also for 1 service appointment they fixed what they said was causing the problem. Only I had to put it back in for service a month later because apparently that wasn't the root cause of the problem. More thousands of dollars wasted. They are the only Mini service place in town and they know it. I think that's why they don't care about keeping appointments or doing quality work. More

I came to Baron MINI knowing what I wanted. I had a 16 yr-old van and was now ready for a "fun for me" car. After test driving and verifying specifics for my taste, I outlined the car/color/features I wa yr-old van and was now ready for a "fun for me" car. Debbie worked with her management team to find my car and gave me options for lease vs buy so I could decide what was best for my budget. After two short delivery delays out of their control, (major snowstorms where car was coming from & transport truck breaking down), they set up my delivery date/time. Upon arriving at Baron MINI to get my brand new car, I found out the dealer who was supposed to transfer the car to Baron for my purchase, changed their mind without telling Baron. They refused to give my car to the transportation company! Without telling me, Baron found another car for me with my features and an extra surprise and had it waiting for me as promised in the showroom at the scheduled date and time. I was SO excited! They turned potentially disastrous news for me into a wonderful surprise without me even knowing. I went from thinking this car wasn't meant to be to it was definitely meant for me -- thanks to Baron MINI!! I would like to give another shout out to Debbie who faithfully and quickly answered all my questions and concerns in the extra time it took to get my car due to the transportations issues. She was very responsiveness and informative and never acted like it was an inconvenience for her. Overall, I would definitely recommend working with Baron MINI!! More
I brought my MINI in for an issue with the timing chain. Even though it was put of warranty, Baron MINI was able to work with MINI USA and get it repaired under warranty. We had been looking for a newer (used) BMW M3 for a few months but they had been very hard to locate in the Kansas City area. When we saw one at Baron, Lisa was able to arrange a test drive for us on shor months but they had been very hard to locate in the Kansas City area. When we saw one at Baron, Lisa was able to arrange a test drive for us on short notice. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and took the time to answer all our questions and offer her insights on the vehicle. We also had Samer drive us in the M3 before we gave it a test drive to help demonstrate its features. Lisa and her team were very patient with us while we contemplated and eventually decided to purchase the M3. Robert helped us financed the M3 at a good rate. He and Lisa stayed late to help us complete the purchase and we drove home that night with the M3. Overall a super experience and we look forward to dealing with them in the future. More

Aaron Mumma has always been very professional and never pushy or overly aggressive. He has always come out of his way to take care of us and make us feel very welcome. Previously, I would never have described the "purchasing process" associated with a new or used car as enjoyable. Between the high pressure sales tactics of the over-zealous sales representative "purchasing process" associated with a new or used car as enjoyable. Between the high pressure sales tactics of the over-zealous sales representative and the finance manager that works behind some magical curtain like The Wizard of Oz sending messages back and forth to you through his minion -the unfortunate buyer was completely at the mercy of the dealership. Your singular option was to grit your teeth and hope for the best; if you’re lucky they will ALLOW you to buy one of their cars. Then I walked into the Baron Mini dealership and was presented with a new approach to the buying experience. Arron Mumma, my sales representative, openly answered every question that I asked; even if the answers would not be to the benefit of his sales commission. Then second oddity occurred when I was allowed to go behind the wizard’s magical curtain and sat down with John finance manager. He patiently ran numerous finance scenarios that I requested, explaining the pros and cons of each option to me. Then he took a new approach for me, he waited for ME to decide what I wanted; not the usual headlock that is applied to force the decision. This is truly a professional team that understands how today’s car buyer wants to be treated and responded to. Great job, Baron Mini. More
I live 200 miles from Baron. I knew that I wanted a Mini, having owned and loved driving a BMW for many years, however, I had never even seen my car until the day of delivery. Lisa, and the rest of the Baron having owned and loved driving a BMW for many years, however, I had never even seen my car until the day of delivery. Lisa, and the rest of the Baron team (Samer was awesome, as was the finance department) were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. They were completely attentive, responding quickly to my questions and concerns. Over the course of my lifetime I have purchased a few new automobiles, and this was by far the most pleasant of them all. More
