My Review of Baytown Ford:
I came to your dealership under mis appropriated statements from Nia. I was told that I had been preapproved and all i had to do was bring in my trade and pick out my car and see if my payments would be in range. I did what i was suspose to do but I was lied to and had not been pre-approved at all. I did not mind so much going through the application process it was the continued changes your sales and finance personnel were doing. I explained that I had a trade and that I was upside down in the rodeo but with the rebate and 1500 cash down i needed my payments at no more than 400.00 per month. I was approved finally but then yours sales dept kept trying to get me to put more money down and my notes would been 489.00. they never would tell me what the interest rate was? they could not give me a straight answer at all. The another gentleman came over and explained he had only been in sales for 3 1/2 months and did not know alot about sales at this time that he had been in the grocery store business for x amont of years. I explained my story to him and he stated well maybe if you are so unhappy we don't need you as a customer? I was ready and willing to purchase the vehicle until he said he did not need me as a customer. I hope you great success in the future I have been so humilated and upset i do not think i will ever go to another dealer ship. The first car I bought was my rodeo which was 17,000 in 1997 since I did not know what I was doing I trusted the sales person to do the right thing and help me. They had me sign a lease option plan for 4 years and then they had me purchase the vehicle 2 years ago at 11,000 I still owe two more years on this rodeo 7000.32 for two more years a total of 8 years for a car? I explained all of this to Nia and told her I was scared to buy another vehicle she assured me you were different and I would be treated right at your dearlership. Well as you can see I wasn't, so I guess you all treat your customers the same and for that i am sorry.<br><br>thank your for your help and listening to my complaint and maybe another person will not have to go through what I went through at your finance and sales departments.<br><br>cc: ford.com
