Dealer recommended work that I was not sure about. I took the car to two other mechanics and they both independently stated that the suggested work (ball joints) for $1500 was NOT needed. My concern at this time goes out to GM regarding my AC compressor failing at 6 years and 84000 miles which is out of warranty but definitely short of the expected life of a compressor. I am continuing with getting it replaced but I am hoping also that Andy will be able to reach GM to look into this for consideration. More
Scheduled appointment with understanding that I would wait for the car. No one informed me when the car was ready making me late for work after sitting for nearly 2 hours. The car only needed an update wait for the car. No one informed me when the car was ready making me late for work after sitting for nearly 2 hours. The car only needed an update and wipers installed. When I got in the car, the wipers were still in the packaging. Then I was told that the parts department had sold me the wrong wipers. I was further delayed while they searched for the correct wipers. A bit later I again saw my car outside and again asked if that meant it was ready. No one came to tell me. Even after getting in my car for the second time, I was delayed as the rep searched for keys to move the car that was blocking my exit. I won’t be in any hurry to return. More
