I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I recently received at Bergey’s Lincoln dealership regarding my 2017 Lincoln Continental. I brought the vehicle in to address two issues: service I recently received at Bergey’s Lincoln dealership regarding my 2017 Lincoln Continental. I brought the vehicle in to address two issues: a malfunctioning front passenger door handle that prevented entry from the outside, and an intermittent check engine light. While the interior door function worked properly, the exterior handle did not. I also requested diagnostic review of the engine light during the same visit. Starting with the door handle issue, I was contacted with an estimate of $6,206.23 to complete the repair. I was told this cost was due to the need to replace all four door handles. This explanation was not reasonable or adequately justified, given that only the front passenger door handle was malfunctioning. The quoted cost is disproportionate to both the scope of the issue and the overall value of the vehicle. To validate this, I consulted an independent mechanic who confirmed that replacing only the affected handle is a standard and viable approach. I was advised that an OEM replacement part could be obtained for approximately $300, with installation bringing the total repair cost to roughly $500. This stark contrast raises serious concerns about the accuracy and fairness of the dealership’s recommendation. Regarding the check engine light, I was informed that the purge valve required replacement, which was completed at a cost of $485. However, I was then presented with an additional estimate of $2,205.39 for further work, including engine mount replacement. I was not provided with a clear or convincing explanation as to how engine mounts are related to a check engine light or why this work was necessary based on the initial complaint. Overall, my experience leads me to question whether the recommendations provided were in my best interest. The pricing and suggested repairs appear excessive and insufficiently justified. I chose to visit the dealership expecting specialized expertise, particularly for the door handle issue, but left with significant doubts about the integrity of the service provided. As a result of this experience, I have lost confidence in both Bergey’s Lincoln and the Lincoln brand as a whole. More

Over the course of four months, I had taken my one-year-old Lincoln Aviator to multiple dealerships for problems with the braking system. Each time, I was dismissed and told, “If there’s no code, there’s no problem.” As a parent of two very young children, driving a vehicle when I knew something was wrong with the brakes was simply not an option. Within minutes of arriving at Bergey, Brian was on it. He listened carefully, got in the car, and experienced the issue for himself. Almost immediately, he validated the concerns I had been fighting to have addressed for months. After acknowledging the problem, they sent me off in a preheated loaner vehicle and kept me informed every step of the way. In just two days, Brian had the issue fully resolved. To top it off, Bill—one of their drivers—personally delivered my vehicle back to my door with the brakes working perfectly. My car was returned immaculate, which truly made the experience even better. Brian, Bill, and the entire Bergey Lincoln team have completely won us over. As long as we own a Lincoln, Bergey will be our dealership of choice. More

I purchased a 2021 Black Label Nautilus from Bergey's a few weeks ago. Bergeys is about 7 hours away from my home. Making such a large purchase sight unseen was way out of my comfort zone, but I wanted the 22-position seat/massage option because of back issues, and there were none available locally. Sebastion, my salesperson, was patient with my MANY calls and questions, responded quickly and provided me with videos and documentation about the vehicle I was considering. He also facilitated transportation from the Philly airport to the dealership. John Saddel was great to work with regarding financial arrangements and choosing the best extended warranty with the CPO coverage and my planned ownership. Kari Fluke assisted me with the long-distance title process and Ben Walsh helped with all the closing paperwork and some post purchase questions. Great team effort! More
