Our experience with this dealership was totally uncalled for. My wife and I drove 200 miles round trip to buy a vehicle that Mr. Bixby, had priced earlier that day. That was bad enough, but when you deal for an hour and the ending price was more than the orginal price, this deal was over. When you can't get a sales person to write it down on paper so you don't get confused with their smoke mirror tricks, its time go elsewhere. I hope no one else has had this experience. I worked out a deal over the phone with a guy named Bryan and gave him my phone number just in case the truck would sell before I could get there. The problem was when we arrived at the dealership, Bryan denied even having my phone number and said I was wasting his time. He lied to my face and in front of his co-workers. Hey Bryan, if you didnt have my number than how did you return my calls before I drove out there? I would never spend a dime at Berglund. More

I took my 2004 Ford pickup for repair to Berglunds Body Shop due to an accident. The other person was at fault. I bought the truck new from Berglund in Salem, Va. After 2 months of excuses about they coul Shop due to an accident. The other person was at fault. I bought the truck new from Berglund in Salem, Va. After 2 months of excuses about they couldn't get along with the adjuster because he used to work there and he did not like them ( not my problem )they gave the truck back. The body work was fine. The exaust system was hanging loose due to bolts and hangers not replased while they worked on it. The rear end whined and chattered due to them replacing my low milage properly maintained rear end with a worn out high milage one from a junk yard. When I called to ask about the rear end being not right and asked to have it repaired I was told by Martha " used parts no warranty ". The person at fault had insurance to pay to fix my truck back to as it was before he damaged it. It cost me $400 to get the rear end fixed and $60 to get the front end alligned. The insurance was billed for that also but they couldn't do that right either. I would strongly NOT recomend using these people for anything. Not only am I not happy with the work they did but was lied to several times during the process. The dealer is welcome to contact me but I am sure from the way they do business I'll never hear from them. More

I wanted to keep my 84 olds. it had carb. problems. I decided to take to a delership, they charged more but they would find the problem. I took it to berglund, they replaced a fuel pump with a fuel pump that I had gotten at at Advance auto and the detail of what they did was install owners fuel pump, adjust carb. now the car ran good again for about 4 months. then I had problems again, so I had it towed back to Berglund. this time they said the carb was bad and needed tobe replaced at a cost of approx. 1100 dollars. I towed the auto to a friends house, took the carburator off, shipped back. and again, Carbuerator exchange cleaned the carb out but this time mailed back the FUEL FILTER, which was plugged up again. Again, they said the carbuerator was filled with junk getting into the carbuerator. There was nothing wrong with the carbuerator, I sumit that berglund replaced the fuel filter and they did something more than adjust the carb. there was nothing wrong with the carbueraor but the was junk getting into the carb and the fuel filter was plugged up again thus not allowing fuel to get into the carb. or just trinkle in. I paid Berglund $395. in may 2005, and again in sep. 2005. Instead of locating the problem, they merely put on the diagnostic machine or what ever they call it and reported my carb was bad and needed replacing. A ERRONEOUS DIAGNOSIS WHICH IF DIAGNOSED PROPERLY, THE PROBLEM COULD HAVE BEEN REPAIRED. ALSO, THE CAR STALLED ON A HILL AND I nearly was in a wreck. I HAVE TRIED TO GET RESULTS THRU EMAILS BUT THEY ARRORGANTLY HAVE IGNORED ME. I will file complaints ever where i can, run ads in local paper to see how many others have been taken by this outfit and ultimately take them to claims court. More

I made an appt for recall and warranty work and they kicked me out. The service manager SCREAMED at me in front of my 5 yr old grandson. They refuse to do warranty work on vehicles not purchased from them. This was a 2002 Avalanche with less than 36K miles, still covered by GM. I was told to take it back to New Hampshire where it was purchased, they say it is their right not to work on cars not purchased there. What do you do when you move 800 miles? don't go to Burgland!!!
