Pressure. The sales guy James, was fantastic in fact I am sorry he didn't get the sale but I know he was being pressured from the back end and in the end that reflected on my choice to leave. Calling is a nightmare, no one is available at their phone so you have to leave a message and then they'll call you back when they can. I wanted to finish this up in 1 day however when I was informed on a Saturday that I would have to come back Monday, after signing the paperwork and essentially owning the car to get it, that didn't sit well with me. Why did I go to another dealership that didn't insist that I pay for the brand new inspection sticker that according to you had to be put on before I could take the car, by Maine state law? And also why wouldn't you have staff on on a Saturday to put these stickers on? Here's a few helpful hints to maybe improve your service: LESS PRESSURE, get your sales people some computers or tablets! I had to go home to pull up the stock # of a vehicle that I went there interested in because no one knew what I was talking about. Get a politer finance manager and one who has decent phone skills, for some reason I had to call back at 5:15 on Saturday to find out what was going on, and then my sales guy had to do the talking because Chris was heading out of the office. And no call until after 11 on Monday after I left a message at 9. I was already at another dearlship. Your biggest mistake was letting me walk away after 2 days of dancing around. That's ok though, thank you for the better deal I got somewhere else and the 1 day sale I got there too! More
This is for the BDO on Pleasant Street. My husband dealt with David Searles. David, at all times, was considerate of our work schedules, price range and needs. He was in contact with us regarding all points during the sale. He made sure that when the car we were buying needed tweaking that my husband would have transportation while they work on the car. He stayed beyond his shift to meet us at the Old Bath Road location because it was closer to our home and more convenient. He included our daughter in conversation and was one of the best reps we have ever dealt with at BDO. This was the best car buying experience we have had. This is our 3rd purchase from your company. I went to Bill Dodge just took look at the new 2012 Sonata and knew immediately when greated by Jason and Stu that I would be back at some point to purchase a vehicle from them. I have never had great experiences with car dealerships before until now! Jason and Stu made me feel welcomed and important. They both were very pleasant and kind (great sense of humor too!) and did there absolute best to get me in the car I wanted. During the time of purchase they made sure they went over all details and information which made the transition very smooth. I feel that I have two great people at Bill Dodge that I believe in and trust and would recommend this dealership along with Jason and Stu with pride! Thank you More
I emailed Seth over the weekend about a car we had seen on the lot. I expressed that I had already driven another vehicle at another dealership which had given me an offer on my trade. He responded quickly and assured me he could meet the trade in value offered. On Monday morning we went in, met Seth, test drove the car and within 4 hours we were out the door with a 2011 Hyundai Sonato with 11K. The entire experience was not at all what I had expected. There was no haggling or high pressure. Seth was able to meet the trade in I was offered and also beat a loan rate I was given at my credit union. I would definitely recommend Bill Dodge as well as Seth Taylor to all of my friends & family in the market for a new car. More

I needed a new vehicle considering my suv was draining my wallet, however, dealerships give me anxiety, however I had to do something, so I contacted Heather Sullivan at Bill Dodge in Brunswick, thru a refer wallet, however, dealerships give me anxiety, however I had to do something, so I contacted Heather Sullivan at Bill Dodge in Brunswick, thru a referral my friend had given me. I told Heather upfront how I felt about sales people, managers, and the dealership itself. I was very nervous about even stepping foot in the door, however, when I arrived Heather greeted me at the door, and she had already done her homework, so I wouldnt have to wait around. She had brought up a Kia that I was interested in from the Westbrook location, and had also picked out a Hyundai for comparison for me to test drive. She was great! I wasnt prepared to buy immediately, but she wanted me to take one of them overnight, so I could really experience the car. I was very impressed considering I had no intention of actually buying one. The rest of the sales people along with the manager, Chris, was very kind, too. I did not feel uncomfortable there at all...it was really nice! I worked with the manager for the price that suited my needs and budget and he was able to make it happen. In 3 days of contimplating, I walked out of there with a brand new car! This was my best experience ever! Thank you Heather for making it so pleasant!!! More

He asked me the reason for my visit and I told him I was curious about what they had for Hyundai Elantras on the lot. He was very helpful showing me what was on the lot, but unfortunately it did not meet my needs. When I explained I was looking for a 6-speed manual car, James told me that they were expecting one to arrive in 2-3 weeks and would I be interested in test driving it when it arrived. I said I was but I wanted to look at other cars as well. He gave me his card and told me to call him anytime if I had any questions. After a week, I decided I wanted to put a deposit down on that car and again James was nice and polite when I went to see him. Overall, I had a great experience and I would recommend to anyone that they visit this dealership and ask for James Parr. More

I didn't feel pressured into anything, Heather was very knowledgeable , and best of all they didn't lie to me! After being lied to numerous times at the unnamed dealership 2 dealers down, Heather and the folks at Bill Dodge were a breath of fresh air. I just purchased a 2012 Hyundai Tucson, and couldn't be happier. Thanks everyone for being the awesome exception to dirty car dealers!!!! More
